In all the years Luna spent imprisoned, the sun and moon still rose in Celestia's wake. How was such a feat ever performed or even possible?

In the last of Luna's efforts to find the answers,she agrees to a wicked wager, one she intents to win at any and all cost. Celestia cares for her sister truly... so much so, that there are just some secrets even she won't confess to without proper "incentive."

A week after Sunset Shimmer's unexpected return and (as far as she's concerned) permanent departure from Equestria, Celestia wonders what she could have done to ensure Sunset returned for good, while Luna thinks she's overworried about the situation.

An epic work retelling the life of Celestia, expanding on the mythology created in De Surgente Cadenteque Alicornuum, but it's not necessary to have read it beforehand.

For as long as we can remember, I have lived in my sister's shadow.

A year has passed since the fall of the Crystal Empire. While Celestia and the rest of the ponies of Equestria appear to have moved on, Princess Luna has not. She spends her evenings banishing nightmares of her subjects, especially those of her sister. In the meantime, she struggles to fight against the Nightmist that has managed to burrow its way deep into her heart. Resentment courses through her veins, and fear of rejection threatens to consume her.

When two strange creatures arrive on Equestria in the forms of Scorpan and Tirek, Luna assumes they mean no harm...at least until ponies begin dying. Surely the Elements of Harmony will be enough to defeat the evil, but Luna begins to wonder if her heart is strong enough to wield the elements any longer.

Equestria stands upon the brink of devastation, and it's up to Celestia and Luna to save the land.

But what happens when the savior turns into an even darker enemy?

It has been years since the fall of the god of chaos. A stable rule is established by the two sisters that defeated the mad god, Princess Celestia: Pure of heart and power to raise the sun and protect her citizens. The other sister is not as fortunate to have as kind a reputation...Princess Luna: Clinging to shadows and bringer of the night. While ponies basked in the bright day, they shunned the night; leaving the younger sister to feel unwanted and alone compared to Clesetia's sun. They worked together to protect Equestria and the Princess of Night lived in the shadow of her sister, sorrow and depression mounting to rough thoughts of hate...but a certain somepony just might change that...even if the love is forbidden.

Deemed a traitor by the God Empress Celestia, Twilight Sparkle must now flee for her life to escape her inevitable execution. In hot pursuit by Celestia's minions, Twilight discovers a cave where an ancient creature has been kept prisoner for over a millennium.

Meet Pipsqueak.

Pipsqueak, or "Pip" as he prefers to be called, has quite the imagination. There are times when he is a fearsome pirate, scourge of the seas of Equestria. There have also been times when Pipsqueak has fantasized about being a gallant prince, traveling the land, saving fair maidens, slaying wicked beasts, and being hailed as a hero by his peers. Not once did he ever imagine he'd get exactly what he wished for in the form of Princess Luna adopting him, making him an actual prince! Soon enough, Pip learns that being a prince isn't as glamorous as he thought it to be, and that there are more than a few downsides to being a part of the royal family. One in particular downside coming in the form of a nuisance named Blueblood.

On the other side of the coin, Princess Luna must adjust to her newly-found position of motherhood, balancing the task of providing her adopted foal as normal a life as possible for a young prince, while also making sure the nobility and paparazzi keep their hooves out of their business. Fortunately, this mare not only has the entirety of the Royal Guard, including her own Night Guard at her disposal, but her sister and niece also happen to be fiercely protective of the newest member of their family.

Have you ever heard of a mare named Faust? She's an Alicorn, just like the Princesses, but not a princess herself. Some say she's a queen, some say she's their mother. The truth, well... she's really overworked. And with her duty as The Equestrian Archivist she has a pretty demanding job. But what happens when this overworked alicorn decides that she wants to take a vacation in Ponyville? Furthermore, what'll happen when she skips out on her job to take that vacation?

(My first story! A different take on Fausticorn, I've seen her given a general persona that just doesn't seem like what I saw in the original art. So here's my idea of what she might be like. Tags will be added as the story continues.)
