Except, everything is wrong. The trees of the Everfree stand petrified and old. The vibrant sky of blue hangs grey with decay. This story is a sequel to Reddux the Tyrant

A threat is forming in the underbelly of Equestria, a threat whose true nature remains disturbingly elusive to Equestria's Night Princess.

With her millennium-old confidants long dead and gone, the newly-returned Princess Luna calls upon a dangerous but loyal ally to gather the ponies she needs from her sister's unfamiliar Equestria. Together, they seek out the underdogs and the overshadowed, the second-place and the unappreciated, those who's virtues are not so readily visible in the light of day. Ponies among whom she has much in common.

They are not like the Element Bearers.

They are no heroes.

Join Trixie Lulamoon, a unicorn who's lived a life of bad choices, as she tries to make things right. As she truly becomes great and powerful.

Equestria's oldest griffin settlement makes its home in the mountain ridge known simply as Sharfkral-Grat. Things turn complicated for a pair of friends when one of them realizes he sees his best friend as "more than just friends". Despite this love, there are hardships—fear, honor, and law—that keep him from confessing his feelings.

This is set within the universe of my main story, aptly dubbed the "Farringtonverse", but one goal I had with this was that it be able to stand alone to a certain extent. However, if you've read the main story, this definitely expands on some of my headcanon.

The title is German for "Silence is Torture," which is what this story is about. It is also about gay romance. If that offends your sensibilities, consider this a warning to turn around now before you go any farther.

During her studies in the Canterlot archives, Twilight Sparkle makes a startling discovery - Star Swirl the Bearded, the most famous unicorn in Equestrian history, had a son! Tracing the family line down the centuries, Twilight is ecstatic to discover a direct descendant of Star Swirl is still living today. She sets out to meet this "Beatrix Lulamoon", who surely is a great and powerful unicorn worthy of her heritage with a wealth of ancestral knowledge to share... isn't she?

Thirty moons later, she returns to Equestria, seeking judgment for her crimes from her former mentor, hoping that some form of punishment - a stint in the royal dungeons, perhaps - will help her come to terms with the past.
