The neighboring kingdom of Aurora lays to the north of Equestria has always been reclusive. Much like there Queen Eventide, even through there generations of isolationism the diarchy of Equestria has always tried to form relations to no avail.
Queen Eventide had always respectfully decline the many invitations sent by Celestia. Mandatory meeting of the kingdoms was always visited by a trusted representative, and dispatching hardly sincere apologies as she declined to attend the celebrations. Yet to the princesses surprise the queen accepted to attend this years Grand Galloping Gala, why now of all celebrations?
Eventide, the queen, is a unicorn. As was her husband, King Astrid, who has sadly passed. And she to will pass on one day. The royal pony sisters had always wondered why she had not chosen a heir to assend to the throne on the day of her passing. But they didn't know of her only child, her heir. For numberless eons, Equus hosted primitive civilizations, ignorant of the proud achievements of their ancient race. In their simple lives, ponies and other creatures could grow without fear of alerting any of the terrible forces that grew in the galaxy beyond. All civilization had been extinguished by forces beyond comprehension. If they made too much noise, Equestria would be next.

Then came James Irwin, with the truth the Harmony superintelligence that maintained the vast Niven Ring had already known: the galaxy was safe again, and probably had been for many centuries.

Once the truth was revealed, Equestria again longed for the stars. Surely they could not be the only survivors of that galactic Red Tide that had swallowed all intelligent life. Their searching bore fruit: radio signals from a nearby system.

Felicity was the Alicorn chosen to captain that mission of discovery. She would bring the pony gift of friendship to a fellow survivor somewhere out there. That was the plan, anyway.

Unfortunately for Equestria, intelligence does not imply friendliness.

A tale of understanding and discovery set in the world of Message in a Bottle. Reading that story first is highly recommended.

This story was written as a Patreon commission for Lithl over the course of over two years now. It comes to fimfiction now that it is nearly finished.

However, things seem to escalate once three girls start causing trouble for Spidey and Parker.

It's just another day in the life of a rookie superhero.

Life for a superhero is tough, but life for a rookie superhero is the breaks. Peter Parker is only six months into his tenure as Spider-Man, and he has already screwed up so badly that he is transferred out of New York to Canterlot High by SHIELD director, Nick Fury, personally. With a damaged reputation, can Peter find new ground in his personal and heroic life while trying to keep a low profile? Highly unlikely.
