It is the thousandth year since Nightmare Moon's banishment and she has returned. When the battle with Nightmare Moon goes awry, Twilight's friends and family must cope with the destruction left in Nightmare's wake.

AU. Based on the first season. Twilight and Celestia begin to drift apart due to a misunderstanding. Will Luna speak up and repair the breach, or will she remain silent to keep her new friend, Twilight, all to herself? Will Discord and Pinkie save the day? Will Celestia, Luna, Cadence and Twilight have enough fire power to repel the invaders? Only time will tell.

The life of a Princess of Equestria is always a stressful one, whether you are an experienced one or not. Sometimes you need to get away from it all. That is exactly what Twilight and Cadence thought when they decided to take a trip to the Hoofwian Islands just the two of them. The vacation is suppose to be about having fun, but deep down one of them wants a bit more than that. Their only concern, though, is how the other will react to this.

During the entrance exam to Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, Twilight completely loses control of her magic. Celestia tries in vain to calm her down, but having no other choice she's forced to use a shrinking spell on the filly in order to tone down her dangerous surge of power.

After the exam, Celestia takes the tiny Twilight as her personal student to teach the young unicorn control over her powerful magic, making sure that she will pose no threat to other beings.

Will tiny Twilight be able to step out into a world designed for someone far larger than her? And will her size impede her in the trials of life as princess personal student ?
