Sunset is bitten by a bat that appears to just not exist in the human realm when she researches it. After the bite she's starting to experience some weird after symptoms, and has completely lost her appetite, but has a weird craving.

Sunset in her state of defeat goes through a crisis when she notices her demon trying to get out of her, the abuse at school doesn't help. Listening to that created being, she decides to listen to her demon, the only one capable of understanding her. Dealing with new spooky magical occurrences; The 5 mane try to reach her, but it is useless, is approaching… a musical showcase.

Sunset Shimmer and Princess Twilight Sparkle have both been plagued by odd dreams. Romantic escapades and tender moments between ponies they don't recognize that all end in tragedy.

Together, they investigate this phenomena, aware of the growing tug their hearts have for one another. The answers they find, however, may threaten to tear them apart.

Perception is a fascinating thing. Sometimes, how someone views themselves and how others view someone don't coincide. In fact, it can be absolutely baffling how different the two are.

The girl who seems to have everything together? She might be a wreck beneath the surface.

The girl who seems so inattentive? Perhaps she genuinely doesn't see the attempts to reach her.

The girl who seems so moody? Maybe there's more to it than what people see.

But of course, that's the thing about perception. Sometimes, it just doesn't line up. And few know that better than the girls at Crystal Prep Academy.
