11382704 This is what I was afraid of when I first saw that Mane 5 tag. It's actually supposed to be for the G5 ponies (Sunny, Izzy, Hitch, Zipp, and Pipp). You need to change that character tag to Main 7 EqG (because it specifies they're the main cast of Equestria Girls), or people will mistakenly think those five ponies are going to be part of this story.

First point:
in this version Sunset suffers a very strong bullying from the person she abused, and her friends never noticed that bullying. And the truth is, they are with Sunset, not on they initiative, is because of what Twilight asked them to do, to took care of her. Deep down, they still resent with Sunset, and don't accept her as friend. Sunset confronts them and distances hermself from them, when the dazzlings arrive, they have to go with the only person who can talk to Twilight, Sunset Shimmer.
Sunset helping them (for personal gain), but they never apologized for being bad friends. That's why Sunset said that, she can't forgive an apology, which was never made.
Second point:
Sunset is not upset, she is frustrated, to the point of accepting what she thinks she deserves. When it's not like that. No one deserves that kind of abuse. No one.

I just realized something. Sunset is actually setting herself up for failure. Sooner or later twilight and the others are gonna know about the demon and if what rainbow dash said is true then they’ll have less reasons to be friends with her. Sunset has higher priority in helping the baby to free himself from those demonic shadows. Also, she doesn't consider the Rainbooms her friends anymore; How can you consider someone your friend when they have not been there for you in your worst moments?
And yes, the demon will not always be a secret, but it will develop as this universe progresses.
For now, the subplot is about to end, just like the events of rainbow rocks; I still have many ideas in mind, and I will use them for write perhaps the last chapter of this story.

I think twilight doesn't understand that sometimes a simple I'm sorry isn't enough. The girls would had to be blind not to see how much sunset was suffering and twilight honestly expected that after so long having fake friendship that she would easily trust those who lied about their friendship with her. They chose their path now they have to deal with the consequences.
Of course they didn’t offer to help fix the wall you did it. This sunset is really pissing me off, because it sounds like she wants to do an action but no take the backlash.

Yes but she expected the people who implied to twilight that they were going to be her friend to actually try to be that . Twilight had just made a big friendship speech and said she believed the girls would be her friends and twilight did ask them to to care of her and unfortunately somehow they misinterpreted this to mean play guard dog while faking friendship. She just supposed believed that after she gave them her trust at one her most vulnerable moments that they actually want to be friends with her after they lied and ignored her pain so long. They had every right to be upset about the past but it is hard to understand how they could misinterpreted what twilight wanted. Sunset couldn't trust them anymore because they chose the opposite of friendship with her and then expected automatic forgiveness just because they needed her now when they wanted nothing to do with her for months and were pretending to give her a chance.

Yeah I still can't imagine how they got the idea that twilight wanted them to play guard dog. Maybe if they had bothered to apologize without a probable twilight chewing out she might have been willing to give them a second chance but after they got the book they just assumed that everything was OK despite the fact they hadn't even bothered to apologize just try to make excuses as they realized that she had realized they had never been her friends because they pretty much admitted to each other that playing guard dog was the only reason they hung out with her. When they realized that no they hadn't made because they never bothered to say sorry they didn't even have it in them to say sorry then and there. You know you messed up then you do your best to make it right as soon as possible. I assume that sunset did what she could to make up for her years of bullying but if people are unwilling to forgive then everyone should acknowledge that and try to move on non violently.
