This story is meant to follow up to the Holiday Special. Not the first movie. So the characterization represented here is taken from the former. In said comic, Twilight was the only one who didn't turn on Sunset during the incident and therefore (in this particular situation mind you) remains blameless. And considering her own experience with losing the support of her friends coupled with the fact that they did the exact opposite of what she instructed them to do when she left Sunset in their care gives her more than enough reason to be angry with them.
What Sunset did in the first movie is irrelevant here since in Rainbow Rocks, she spent the whole film working to redeem herself. The focus here is how the Humane 5 were wrong to turn on her again after that.

no, it really doesn't, because she snapped to the same conclusion, and the only reason she didn't pull the same shit and lead all of those friends into it, is because sunset happened to have actually fucked with them, or so I gathered. the movie makes absolutely no sense, so there are bound to be conflicts, but having twilight come off as holier than though to the remane five after her example was what taught them to do that means that she is no where near guilt free. there's no statutes of limitations on being an asshole if you never repent

Look, I fully agree with you that Twilight can be a pretty big asshole most times, but during the Anon-a-Miss incident, she was on Sunset's side the whole time. So like it or not, she has plenty of reason to be upset with her human friends for this specific event.

Twilight always acts awfully to the people she's trying to help and that is by no means more demonstrated than in lesson zero, but twilight is eager to share information and share her superior views. In this fic, its very obvious that not only did twilight take a completely different attitude, but that attitude was one of contempt. Twilight assumes and in other ways acts like shes' better than other people and it comes off as arrogant but she never typically holds that against them.
