This story is a sequel to Flying Sky-High

So much has happened in the past year. Friends have been made, battles have been fought, and love has bloomed. Now at long last, Rainbow Dash has the chance of a lifetime: a chance to become a Wonderbolt and instantly be part of an elite squad. However, one of the key judges for the tryout is none other than her love: Soarin. He is bound by his profession to be fair and honest in his selection. Will their relationship give Dash an edge in the tryouts? Or will it strike her down before she even gets there?

Also what of the dark magic within Soarin? He's kept quiet about it for a while, but not all is as well as he lets on.

And what of the Shadowbolts? They scattered after the battle with Nightshade. Surely they didn't just disappear.

A story of remaining strong in the face of harsh challenges. Life and love can be tough, but strong hearts always find a way to prevail.

This Fic's length is a bit intimidating, but it is broken into four parts, each of which could be considered their own stories with clear beginnings and conclusions. I decided to keep it all together because it was how my outline was structured (aka i completely underestimated the length).

This is not a Gurren Lagann Crossover. The title was a coincidence. (But said coincidence has led to many references and characters that parody the anime)

It wasn't long after Sombra's defeat that he was found in the outskirts of the frozen north, regenerated from his dismembered horn, but too weak to do anything more than stay in hiding and hope to make a full recovery. Princess Celestia was swiftly alerted of his re-appearance, and the dethroned king was dragged away from the north to be kept prisoner in the Canterlot Castle.

After weeks of planning, the princess called Fluttershy to Canterlot and bestowed upon her the task of reforming yet another foe. If there was anypony who could have some influence on such a vile overlord, it was her.

Fluttershy, however, wasn't nearly as certain of herself. Discord was so much different; he was so much easier. Back then, she had the elements of harmony at her disposal. but now, living in the Canterlot Castle with not a fellow element for miles, King Sombra was an entirely different story.

After a mysterious and widespread spell causes ponykind to vanish, Fluttershy is left behind to cope with what the future has in store for her and the remains of Equestria.

In a matter of days, the once-prosperous nation begins to descend into a harsh and unforgiving place. While cities crumble around her, Fluttershy finds herself living in a land rife with dangers and heartbreaking reminders. With nopony to turn to, Fluttershy is forced to learn to fend for herself, discover what happened, and, if possible, find a way to reverse it.

Survivor Shy is an illustrated story following Fluttershy in the weeks after a magical cataclysm. While the last pony relives her past, readers are offered a vivid glimpse into Fluttershy's mind and are led on a harrowing journey through the ruins of Equestria and beyond.

After a terrible storm sweeps through the Everfree, Fluttershy finds the weakened but still powerful King Sombra on her doorstep. Unable to resist his dark magic, she finds herself trapped by a spell that forces her to aid him, protect him, and heal him until he is strong once more, all while keeping his revival a secret from her friends. Unwilling to risk bringing her friends into the situation and endanger them, Fluttershy decides on a riskier tactic

If she could reform Discord, why not the Tyrant of the Crystal Empire. After all, with his spell keeping her from betraying his presence, it might be her only hope. Can she kill the Dark King with Kindness? Or will the ancient sorcerer once more stretch his shadow across Equestria?

After years of hiding in the Everfree forest, Fluttershy emerges to a very different Ponyville. It seems as though everypony is gone. She knows only one thing, Discord has been living in her cottage, and he and Angel Bunny are all shes got now that everypony seems to have vanished from Ponyville.

This is a universe where after Twilight and friends gave up the elements, Discord took advantage of it, and everypony was forced to leave Ponyville. Fluttershy blamed herself for the incident and blocked it from her memory. She now returns to Ponyville and must pick up the pieces.

Discord has decided to give up his magic for the love of his life, Fluttershy. He doesn't want to outlive her and possibly his children. But a few years into their marriage, Discord's health begins to rapidly decline with no one able to help him. Fluttershy must care for a child and dying husband while coping with the fact that Discord may not survive.

Discord once had a lover, fiance, special somepony whatever you would call it but after a terrible accident he promises he will never love again, but after thousands of years what if he finds that one of his lovers Descendants is an exact replica of her?

Cadence and Fluttershy are two Pegasus sisters living in the small village of Canterlot. These two mares are the most kind and loved ponies in the whole village.

When their father, Soarin', tells them of the legend of the "Sleeping Princess" they set off on an adventure to save the far off kingdom of the Everfree Forest and help break the sleeping curse that Princess Twilight set upon herself...

Not to mention, find out what happened to her brother, Shining Armor and return him to the Royal Family.
