Fluttershy clapped as the song ended and smiled gleefully.
"Oh, that was wonderful!" Fluttershy complemented
"Well I'm glad you liked it! Did ya see me?" Asked Applebloom jumping up and down
"Yes I did you were very good, all of you were brilliant!" Fluttershy said
The mares and stallions bowed and smiled each saying goodbye as they returned to their room tierd from the performance. Zecora and Chip walked towards Fluttershy, Chip gave her a hug and then walked off to his bedroom while Zecora stayed and escorted Fluttershy back to her room.
"Zecora may I ask you a question? A-about the master?" Fluttershy quickly said
"Yes, you may as long as the answer stays inside this castle and to nopony else. Understand?" Zecora said suspicion crossed over her face.
"Ok." Fluttershy agreed
"Why is Discord so.. Evil? And why did he want me? Am I special or something? Does he eat his victims?!" Fluttershy started hyperventilating at all the things he could do and why. She was most particularly afraid of the last question.
Zecora shook her head and began with the first answer.
"No, Fluttershy he does not eat his victims. If he did I would not be here right now. Why did you think that he did?" She asked chuckling slightly at her ridiculous question.
"Ok, the next question. Are you special? Probably or probably not. We are all special in our own way Fluttershy but I do sense something in you, something quite peculiar?" She eyed her for a brief second but turned around and answered the next question. "Discord is obsessed in getting his revenge on Queen Celestia, why? To this I have no clue. But he was also obsessed with you."
Fluttershy gasped at the new information. What did her mother do to make Discord so mad? And why is Discord so.. Obsessed with her? It doesn't make sense? She thought but continued to listen.
"And for your last question, this I can assure is not a happy tale to tell. Long ago In THE city of Prance there was a lonely draconequus only small, like the size of a colt was shivering in a alley with only a cardboard box to protect this creature. He was abandoned by his mother and father as a foal and raised by wolves until he was old enough to leave and live alone. He was only 8 and everypony always treated him badly, never seeing the true gentle creature that was underneath. Until one day at the age of 15 he was discovered by an alicorn Princess."
"My mom?" Fluttershy gasped
"Yes. She was the first friend of Discord. They used to do everything with each other. Play games, go out places, go on patrols. They were great friends. Until you're father came into the picture. You see, Sombra was a prince back then and Cestia fell in love the moment she saw his hoofsom features and Sombra fell in love too.” Zecora said gravely “They soon became a couple which angered Discord for he also loved Cestia.”
“Oh no! Poor Discord..” Fluttershy felt terrible. How could she judge someone without knowing their whole story.
Zecora nodded her head
“Yes, that day was the most terrible. Celestia, Sombra and Discord had fought for days with the most dangerous of magic.. Chaos magic! “ Zecora said whilst looking around. “After several days your parents won the fight and after 1 year they had you. That's when they banished him and all of us. We haven't been anywhere since.”
Fluttershy was astonished, but mostly saddened by the new source of information. No wonder why he hated my parents. she thought to herself.
“Thank you zecora, that helped.” she thanked
“ Your welcome dear child. Try to get some sleep you've had a long day.” Zecora patted her back and Fluttershy walked inside her room.
“Goodnight Zecora.”
“ Goodnight, don't let the bedbugs bite.” Zecora smiled
Fluttershy giggled. And then closed the door and went to sleep
