Today just seemed like any other day on Sweet Apple Acre for Applejack. She tilled the fields, fed the farm animals, fixed broken pieces of the barn but then, she saw something she'll never forget.

Just on the edge of the Everfree Forest, there was a bloodied and bruised filly on the verge of death. Applejack's world would soon be changed forever after she decided to foster this young and very unique foal, who's current condition suggest a terrible background. A background that is catching up to them.

Now, this filly will have to learn to move on from her old life, make new friends and find her special talent. A difficult task made even harder by the monsters of her past, lingering in her mind like ghosts. They'll come back for her, and they'll burn everything down to achieve...

Also, the cover art was revamped. I felt like the old one had too much dead space, so I figured something out! Let's see if you can guess who's on the cover art now!

Have you ever just been having a regular day, then suddenly, BAM, you're dead? Well, no, of course you haven't. But what do you expect to happen after you die? If the answer was getting shoved into an overly pink copy of a pony princess, you'd be lying. Worse yet, she made me an alicorn just like her, which causes a whole new set of problems.

Unfortunately, she was adamant that I stay and become her twin sister. I ditched her immediately in my bumbling confusion and fear, and who could blame me? The last thing on my mind was being here! Ponies, princesses, and twin sisters? What kind of fantasy story was that? I was on the run, hiding from guard patrols, and fighting for my next meal. However, my own hubris caught up to me in the end, and her super powerful mother, Cadance, found me and made me see how stupid I was being. And Cadance, is an absolutely crazy powerful pony, with an even more powerful maternal instinct. So when it came down to her word against mine, she was really hard to convince, and she wasn't taking no for an answer.

On one fateful day Prince Solar Storm is framed for a crime he didn't commit. Banished from his home with nopony but a small group of supporters, he eventually finds himself on a large unclaimed island. He however soon forms the Solar Kingdom from which he proclaims himself King.

The prologue starts a couple years before the mane 6 is born.

During the unification wars the two alicorn sisters was aided by a duke named Paul Atreides to unite the three pony tribes, but nearing the end of the war the dukedom suddenly vanished and it's abandoned lands are now part of the Everfree forest.

More than a thousand years later the great House Atreides reappeared in their as if nothing happened. And on great timing as the nations of Equus are on the brink of war.

Sunset, feeling herself betrayed by her Princess, escapes through Starswirl's portal to the Realm of Men. Concerned for her safety, her battle sister Aiko follows her through. Nothing however goes as planned. The forces of darkness have gathered, and see a chance to land a decisive blow against Harmony, striking down her agents as they pass through the chaotic realms.

And Sunset is left to deal with what remains, her sister at her side, in a Realm so different from anything they expected and no way back for now.

Broken Wind was on the run for a majority of his life because of an act that shocked the Equestrian government and its citizens. He unknowingly gets the chance to relive his life again. He must relive challenges of racism, xenphobia, & sexism. But his life will a new direction.

It has been one month since the attack on Canterlot by the mysterious monsters known as the changelings, and the Princesses Celestia and Luna are lost in a whirlwind of problems ranging from the restoration of damage to their city to quelling the nobles who wish to see changeling blood spilled for the unprovoked attack on their city. When a film appears suddenly that features not only a changeling, but one calling himself a king and claiming a desire for peace and to be from another hive entirely, the two rulers are left with several important questions.

Is what they are being told the truth?

Why is this king contacting them now?

And is this contact a ploy or prelude to another attack?

Upon being denied what was rightfully hers, Sunset chose to leave her mentor's side and chart her own path towards her destiny. She believed that the the Mirror Portal would lead her on the path necessary towards her ascension into an Alicorn. Instead it lead her to a world scarred by a war between corporations, resistance factions and warlords. And at the forefront of these battles, were the machines known as Armored Cores.

Chrysalis, despite having lost her hive, still has a few loyal changelings at her command. Few though they may be, she sends them out to look for other hives to form an alliance and take down the ponies that stole her children and position away from her.

One such bug is a blue 'prince' who has stumbled upon a particularly thick forest on a continent two days away from Equestria by sea. With high hopes, he attempts to initiate contact, but these bugs are quite...obnoxious to deal with. The prince's patience will be pulled and stretched to its limits as he tries to negotiate with the queen. It doesn't help that these changelings possess physical features that make them terrifying up close.
