We had finally decided on a date for the invasion after a changeling spy had found out that there was a royal wedding between a Princess Mi Amore Cadenza and a captain of the royal guard. I had no idea who this mysterious Princess was but I was worried that the plan could go pearshape as several spies had reported that the Canterlot was swarming with guards and the city had been covered in a protective force field. The plan was simple: Crysallis had launched a successful kidnapping of the mysterious bride who she has now replaced. From here on out she would use her powers to weaken the force field from the inside as well as trying to separate each of the royal princesses so that they can be ambushed. They would then capture the elements of harmony before I would bring down Celestia.

For now however I was heading to the abandoned mines beneath Canterlot where the Bride was being imprisoned. I was intending to interrogate her and find out who she is exactly.

I walked into what appeared to be a large cavern with reflective rock. I was weary of my surroundings, I knew that while she had been weakened she still had her magic.

All if a sudden I was blasted from my side however the attack was pitiful, it had barely knocked me down. I quickly magicked up a force field around me.

“Stop!” I commanded, however she just scowled menacingly.

“Why should I?” She sneered.

I merely sighed before saying “Princess I just want to know who you are and what your relation with Celestia is?”

She peered at me suspiciously, “why?”

“Because I said so and don’t forget that I have your husband life in my hooves. I can just as easily end it” I threatened while dragging my hoof across my throat.

“Fine I became the princess of love after Princess Celestia declared me a princess” she relented.

This enraged me “So she’s trying to replace me” I growled. I swallowed a lump that was forming in his throat.

Cadenza gasped in realisation “You love her!”

“Excuse me? What did you just say?” I growled in anger.

“You love her.” She said. Suddenly I used my magic and grasped her by the throat.

“I DO NOT LOVE HER! She betrayed me!” I shouted leaving me heaving with anger.

“What happened?” She asked not perturbed by my yelling.

“None of your bussines” I told her before storming out of the makeshift prison.

I was sat in the makeshift war room when Crysallis stormed in “That Twilight Sparkle is getting suspicious” she seethed.

“Any way you can deal with her?” I asked.

“No not without everypony getting suspicious” 

“Find an excuse to make her disappear. Turn her against her friends and family” I said.

I then went over to a private chamber and reactivated my sound proof before pulling out a communication crystal. I said the password and was put through to the war command.

“ Admiral Blue Waves, whats the status of the invasion fleet?” I asked.

“Your Majesty, the ships are in position and we have troops ready to land. Our submarines have also slipped into their ports, ready to wipe their entire navy out.” he replied.

“Good, I will contact you when Operation Supernova is ready to commence” I told him.

“For now remain hidden” I commanded.

“After hearing a ‘Yes Sire” I hung up when Crysallis burst into the room laughing maniacally.

“I have captured that book worm once and for all” she said gleefully.

“Good where did you put her” I asked while looking around for a green pod.

“I have placed her in the caves with the Princess” she said.

“Is that a good idea” I asked, I didn’t want the princess to tell Twilight about our encounter. I then added “They could work together to escape”

Crysallis merely rubbed me of saying “Impossible, those caves are impossible to navigate. Any way it would look suspicious if I was carrying a green pod with the elements of magic inside” 

I rolled my eyes saying “If you say so. One down five more to go” 

Crysallis then smirked “well it is nearly time for my wedding. I had better get changed” she said before departing.

I had decided that I would go to the wedding as well but making sure that i disguise myself with a very powerful illusion spell. 

I went over to the mirror and started my spell. My marshmallow, white coach turned to a dark shade of red. While my brownish - red mane turned to a solid red with thin, white streaks. I sadly watched my wings vanish, it had been agreed that i would be a unicorn as I wouldn’t be able to use magic without giving it away.

A changeling guard had managed to smuggle me into the city. Now I was sitting in an aisle seat in the church where the wedding was supposed to take place.

I watched as three fillies dressed in dresses ran down the aisle showering the way with petals, the orange pegasus filly reminded of somepony. I grunted in annoyance as several petals landed in my mane. Then came the princess who merely nodded at me. 

I glared in anger at my mother this was the closest we have been to each other since that fateful day. She began to say “Mares and Gentlecolts, we are gathered here today to celebrate the union of Princess Mi Amore Cadenza and Shining Armour. Princess Cadence and Shining Armour, it is me greatest pleasure to pronounce you…” 

All of a sudden she gasped as the doors slammed open emitting a loud boom that shook the chandeliers. I turned around as I gasped in anger and horror as standing in the doorway was none other than the real Princess Cadance and Twilight Sparkle. 

Crysallis glared as she said in a fake voice “Why does she have to be so possessive of her brother. Why does she have to ruin my special day” she started to produce fake tears. 

However she was cut of by the real princess “Its not your special day, its mine” she announced as she walked out if the shadows.

Crysallis then shouted “How did you escape my bridesmaids” 

BRIDESMAIDS! No wonder they escaped I angrily thought as I slammed my hooves into my face.

I managed to get over my angry thoughts to catch the Apple mare asking in confusion “But ah don’t understand. How can there be two if them?”

“She’s a changeling, she takes the form of somepony you love and gain power from feed of the love you have for them” she explained.

Suddenly i watched a bright green pillar if light envelop Crysallis as I watched her disguise melt away. 

She then performed the cliche, evil villain laugh as I rolled my eyes. Before announcing “Right you are Princess. I am the Queen of the changelings”

I then walked out ready to give Crysallis a piece of my mind. “The cats out of the bag now all because if your ‘bridesmaids’. WHO IN THE NAME OF TARTARUS USES BRIDESMAIDS AS GUARDS!” I shouted angrily.

Crysallis shouted back “HOW DARE YOU TALK TO ME LIKE THAT!” 

Instead of answering I merely growled in anger before sighing “well there’s no point for this now is there?” I asked no one in particular.

I removed the illusion spell to hear a loud gasp come from Celestia. I turned around and glared at her before growling “Hello, Mother”

This in turn made the elements of harmony’s jaws drop. “You have a son!” Twilight asked in surprise. “Why didn’t you tell us?” She then asked.

Celestia was silent. “Yes why don’t you tell them about how you abandoned me that night. How you betrayed me!” I shouted.

She wispered “I’m so sorry” 

I scoffed “Sorry doesn’t cut it. You had no idea how I felt when you kicked me out and threatened to have me banished. Especially when I found out that you replace me!” I angrily huffed before beginning to laugh crazily “Well i’m now about to destroy what you love most. Your precious Kingdom”

I then took out my communication crystal and said to the other end “Operation Supernova is a go, attack!”

I then ended the call before even waiting for a yes sir back.

I then heard the distant sound of the force field shattering.

“Please, Solar, let me explain” Celestia pleaded to her son.

“NO!” I screamed before firing a magic blast at her. 

However, she managed to block it with a shield. “Please don’t make me do this, I don’t want to fight you” she begged, I watched as tears fell from her cheeks, I however felt no remorse, as I kept firing magic blast after magic blast at Celestia however she kist kept on blocking it.

Huffing, I looked around for something that could aid me, when I saw the same pegasus filly holding onto her two friends in fear. Using my magic I pulled the filly away from her friends, the pegasus screaming “NOOOOO” in terror all the while reaching out to her friends.

I heard loyalty scream “SCOOTALOO!” She then flew straight at me and I instantly put up a shield which flung her across the room into a pillar, knocking her out cold.

“RAINBOW DASH!” Scootaloo cried, tears beginning to fall down her face. I then levitated a sword and put it across her throat. The pegasus instantly breathed in as she felt the cold blade against her exposed, throat.

At first Chryasilis looked stunned, but then gave a wicked smile “Excellent idea, Solar” 

Celestia begged “Please let the filly go, she hasn’t got anything to do with this” 

“Only if you give me the elements of harmony!” I told her.

Celestia looked at the petrified filly in my hooves before weakly saying “I I can’t”

“Then her death will be on your hooves” I said simply, closing my eyes, I felt the filly freeze in terror. 

Before I could slit the filly’s throat, Celestia instead offered “I’ll give you Canterlot, if you let her go.” I could hear the desperation in her voice, it was music to my ears. I wanted to kill the kid anyway out of spite but then I asked myself Could I bring myself to end the life of a filly?

Without a proper answer to the question he accepted Celestia’s offer but not without a catch “Just so that I have a bargaining chip, I will be keeping the filly here with me”  

Scootaloo’s friend’s screamed “NO! You can’t take her away” 

However the deal was already made, Celestia nodded in defeat and I watched them with glee as they took their rainbow friend with them and teleported away. I instantly got to work setting up a force field to go around my new conquered territory. 

I then walked to the dungeons, I didn’t want Crysallis to have hold of my hostage. All the while, Scootaloo was frozen from shock and fear. I found a cell and placed her in the middle before she could move, I put a metal collar around her neck which had been secured to the wall via a short, metal chain.

Finally looking at Scootaloo, she had tears streaming down her face and her eyes looked at me like I was a  monster. I slammed the door shut and locked it, I then heard her burst into tears making me feel guilty as I began to comprehend what I had just did. 

I felt like a monster, a feeling that I did not like…
