Twilight has a theory about the behavior of pegasus ponies and needs a subject to study. Enter Rainbow Dash.

We were long-day shadows, stretching ourselves dark and blurry past our breaking points and more.

We were pulsing breath-and-blood, flowing fast through veins of buildings and wide-open spaces.

We were rebels rivals friends lovers runners...

Until that moment, that second, when it all fell away.

Once a Princess, now a Lord, Ember sends a letter to Princess Twilight to a situation that involves Spike. The letter seems serious and the dragons are already on their way. What could it entail about Ember's journey to Equestria? What does it mean for Spike?

Daring Do goes to retrieve an ancient artifact. It is a journey of danger and darkness, that many embark on but few return from. And Daring braves it fiercely.

Naturally, she does so in the most awesome way possible. Just not as awesome as Rainbow Dash. But nearly.

Night Glider, having a difficult time readjusting to her career as a search-and-rescue worker, takes up a position as a fire lookout in Smokey Mountains National Park.

Though she is physically isolated from the rest of ponykind, the voices on her radio ensure she is never truly alone.

They are the celestial bureaucracy, ensuring that everything works together orderly, smoothly, and harmoniously. And, in order to do that, They sometimes have to change a few things.
Things like changing a stallion named Cloud Buster into a lithe cyan mare with a multicolored mane and tail, renaming her Rainbow Dash, giving her a new set of friends, and changing just about everything about her life. However, Cloud—Rainbow—whoever he or she is now—isn’t willing to give up her old life, or her choice in her own destiny, without a fight.
