Secrets long buried are about to bite back, truths come to the light and a conspiracy unravels. After all, how is Twilight to accept that her real parents are ponies that history says are threats to the land.

She's also known as a freak, a monster, and an abomination to many others.

All because of what she was.

She wasn't a griffin, or a minotaur, or a dragon. She was a draconequus, but nopony except the Princesses knew that. All records of draconequii were destroyed and ponies thought that the statue of Discord was just a statue made by an artist with a wild imagination.

Until Discord breaks free of course.

Now Twilight, her friends, and her family is forced to learn about what she truly is and also have to deal with a huge secret that has been kept from her for a millennia.

And also stop Discord from turning the world inside-out.

Vilgax, an intergalactic warlord, lands unwillingly in a world that lacks the technology for space travel. With no means to leave the planet, he starts developing a malicious plan to steal two of the most powerful sources of energy he has ever witnessed in the universe hidden in plain sight from the ponies' habitats with no regard to what it will do to their planet.

Twilight noticed a shooting star and observe it until it exploded in mid-air dispersing its fragments into two. One landed close to Tartarus and a smaller one landed on her friend's apple trees.

Surprised was she when she didn't see an alien creature like she has hope for but rather a white stallion alicorn who was foresight to bring calamity to Equestria and the whole world if he is ever seen.

After a spell is cast, Twilight and Applejack wake up to a surprise the former is one year old foal and the latter is... HER MOTHER?! The pair try to find a way to fix this but it’s gets hard when they realize no one remembers events like they do could their reality have changed?

Celestia has a secret child that she's kept from everypony around her because she wanted to make sure that the Ponies that would try to use the child for their own ends. As such, she put a pony she believed would be able to keep the child safe in charge of her protection and sent them to a small town so they'd be away from Canterlot.

However after 8 years, things in Equestria are changing, and Ponies that Celestia would have rather not found out discover the truth. Now this secret heir must be protected from the darker side of Equestria's society.

Princess Celestia had a good day. Luna had been going out more often and was becoming quite fond of nightclubs, her dear niece Cadance had formally announced her pregnancy—though, privately, Celestia felt she was too young to be a great aunt—and, of course, Twilight, her beloved former student, had taken on her first student and Celestia couldn't be prouder! Yes, it had been a good day.

Celestia Sol woke up much like she did every day the morning: sun waking her as it danced upon her eye lids. Wait, the sun? Celestia's eyes snapped open to reveal she was in Twilight's old room in the observatory. On the other side of the room was a smaller bed where a small dusky unicorn was drooling on her pillow.

Clearly, it must be Tuesday.

Twilight Sparkle was a daughter to Nightlight and Twilight Velvet, a sister to Shining Armor, and a student to Princess Celestia. That was who she was, nothing more and nothing less.

However, on the longest day of the thousandth year, her world will change forever. A secret kept even from her will be revealed and her life will be forever changed.

A different take on the Nightmare Moon incident with a slightly darker outcome.

To celebrate Tirek's defeat, Pinkie has a huge party at the Friendship Castle. During this party, Fluttershy says how she wishes she had a foal, but doesn't think she'd be a good mother.Twilight tells her she'd be a great mother and that, if Fluttershy had been her mother, she'd have been a great one to her. Pumpkin, hearing this, casts a spell, just as Discord, for a joke, is about to turn Twilight into a foal for the night. When Twilight wakes up the next morning, she finds she's become an alicorn foal and fluttershy is her mother.

They both remember that that isn't how it use to be, but other than Discord and Pinkie nopony else seems to remember it and, for some reason, Discord can't reverse the spell. What will they do now?

In case you were wondering, no, twilight isn't a unicorn in the picture, she's an alicorn; you just can't see her wings because she's laying on her back is all.

This story focuses on teenage junior high school student Rainbow Dash and her classmate and crush Soarin Skies.
They team up as they transform into courageous, vivacious superheroes known as Daydream and Midnight to keep Equestria safe from the evil Chrysalis and his army of mind-controlling akuma. But they fight together not knowing the true identity of each other.
