Miraculous: Tales of Daydream and Midnight

by Daydreamfire

Origins part 1

"Many years ago, magical jewels bestowing extraordinary powers were created. This were the miraculous. Throughout history, heroes have used this jewels for the good of the pony race. Two these miraculous are more powerful then the others. The earrings of the sun, witch provide the power of creation and the ring of the moon, witch grants the power of destruction. According to legend, whoever controls both jewels at the same time has absolute power," a small bug-pony explained to a shadow figure.

The shadow was looking at a brooch with a picture of a mare. He shut it and interrupted the small pony. "I want that absolute power, Thorax. I must have those other miraculous," the shadow unicorn insisted.

But no pony knows where those miraculous are," Thorax added, hoping the shadow wasn't going to do something bad. Thorax was green with purple insect wings, orange horns, pink eyes and a horn.

"I found you though, my little Thorax. My miraculous... remind me of it's powers again," the shadow commanded.

"The shapeshifter brooch allows you to give others superpowers and make that pony your devoted follower," Thorax repeated, in his soft, quiet voice.

"And when it comes to luring superheroes, what could be better than creating super villains," the shadow laughed, in his booming, angry voice.

"But master, the miraculous must not be used for evil proposes," Thorax protested against his master's decision.

"I must have this absolute power! Your miraculous is in my control, I am your master now! You must obey me!" the shadow roared, stamping his hoof on the ground, make the white butterflies rise into the air.

Thorax was scared then he hung his head. "Yes master," he sighed in defeat. The shadow put on the brooch then yelled at the small pony, "Thorax, umbra power rise!" The butterflies surrounded him and Thorax reluctantly flew into the brooch. The butterflies where pushed back by the light covering the pony.

The pony had dark grey fur you could only see on his horn and ears and a black mane with flecks of red. He wore a green mask that covered all of his face witch connected to a black suit that covered him from his neck down to his hoofs. His eyes were a blank red, his horn had holes in it and his green cape was rotting away.

He laughed evilly (I rolled my eyes) and he announced, "From this day forth, I am Chrysalis!" He started cackling again as he looked out of the butterfly shaped window.

Faust was sleeping then she was suddenly woken up. She flew out of her match box bed and out of an old record player and yelled, "Master, master!" Zecora was treating an ill patient who was lying down before she was interrupted. The patient looked up to see what was happening. Zecora smiled.

"For this remedy to work I must say master. It will make time fly much faster," Zecora rhymed, trying not to arouse suspicion.

"I'm afraid this session must come to an end, but I hope to see you next weekend," Zecora hurried and pushed the stallion out of the room and slammed the door.

"Master, the shadow miraculous, I felt its aura," Faust informed her master. Faust was the same size as Thorax with white fur, a red mane, teal eyes, a quill for a cutie mark, a horn and wings too.

"I thought it was forever lost, is there any more you know, Faust?" Zecora queried, now masked with confusion and wonder. Zecora was a zebra covered in jewellery, with blue eyes, a spiral cutie mark and a mohawk hairstyle.

"It was a negative aura, master. I fear the miraculous may have gotten into the hoofs of a dark power," Faust stated, alarming Zecora.

"We must find Thorax and the miraculous or the consequences could be disastrous," Zecora exclaimed, lifting up her hoof witch had a bracelet with the same cutie mark symbol as Faust.

"Time to transform, hero form," Zecora called, doing strange movements and falling over.

"Please master, be reasonable, you're only-," Faust begged but Zecora cut in.

"I'm still young, I'm only 181," the zebra revealed. She walked over to the old record player. "But you're right Faust, I can't do this by myself," she paused as she stopped at the musical device. "You and I will need some help."

She pressed a few buttons and the top half slid off revealing a box.

At the Dash's bakery, Windy Whistles was calling her lazy daughter. "Rainbow Dash, your alarm has been on for fifteen minutes. You don't want to be late on the first day of school," Windy sang happy and and chipper, the opposite of her daughter, Rainbow Dash who was completely covered in blankets and was half dead.

Rainbow Dash was a tomboy pegasus with a messy mane and as her name said she had a rainbow mane, magenta eyes, cyan fur and a tri-color cutie mark. "I'm comin' just give me a sec," she grumbled and then her head hit the pillow.

A few minutes later, Dash slowly flew down the stairs and into the kitchen. She sat down at the table and opened a carton of milk. "I bet you anything Trixie will be in my class," Dash complained as she poured the milk in a bowl and then chocolate powder.

"Really, four years in a row, is that even possible?" Windy wondered.

"Definitely. Lucky me," Dash muttered sarcastically.

"Don't say that. It's the start of a new year-I'm sure everything will be just fine," Windy smiled and Dash nodded to her.

Dash put down the chocolate powder, witch nudged the fruit bowl, causing an orange to fall of the top, then it rolled up a knife over the butter, next it went over a teaspoon, flinging a sugar cube across the table, knocking over the chocolate powder box and finally the orange hit the milk carton, spilling it on the floor.Dash groaned and Windy gave her a table cloth and smiled at her daughter who smiled back.

A bit later, Bow Hothoof gave her a box of macrons. "Dad, these are awesome. My class will love them. You're the best," Dash praised, hugging her father almost dropping the box.

"No, we're the best. Thanks do your designs," Bow Hothoof replied, showing her the logo make Dash blush. Only a few people knew she loved art and drawing.

"I better go, bye," Dash rushed, flying out the door and almost bumping into a pony. She was just about to take off but then she saw a zebra crossing the road and a car coming. Dash darted towards the zebra and pulled her onto the path, tripping in the process.

"Thank you for your assistance young mare," the zebra thanked as Dash got up she took one of the broken macrons and tasted it. "Those are world class goods you've got there," the zebra beamed as did Dash until they heard a faint bell.

"Oh no, I'm gonna be late, thank you ma'am," Dash finished and she dashed to the school.

Zecora looked at a small box with a gold design and then at the mare.

* * *

Dash flew right through the door as fast as she could. She stumbled in through the door and the teacher Cheerilee glanced at her then back to the class.

"Cheese sandwich, how about you sit in the front row this year," Cheerilee suggested to a stallion in the back row.

Dash sat down and as soon as she did a blue hoof slammed down on her desk. Dash looked up and saw Trixie with Moondancer standing behind her.

"Rainbow Crash," Trixie teased. Trixie was a unicorn had blue fur, a little blue mane, pink eyes and a magic wand cutie mark.

"Three seconds, new record," Rainbow muttered under her breath and Trixie continued.

"That is Trixie's seat," Trixie declared in third pony for some annoying reason.

"Trixie, this was always my seat," Rainbow stated, rolling her eyes at Trixie's typical behavior.

"New school year new seats," Moondancer piped up as Trixie's sidekick.

"You should go and sit beside that new girl over there," Trixie pointed at a earth pony with pink hair, a light pink mane, blue eyes and two blue and one yellow balloon for a cutie mark, reading a comic book.

"Listen, Soarin is arriving today and since that is going to be his seat, this is going to be Trixie's seat, get it?" she addressed, once again, slamming her hoof down.

"Eh, who's Soarin?" Dash asked, then Trixie and Moondancer started laughing at her.

"Can you believe she doesn't know who Soarin is? What rock have you been living under?" Trixie sneered, still laughing at Dash.

"He's only a famous model," Moondancer squealed in excitement.

"And Trixie is his best friend. He adores the great and powerful Trixie. Now, go on, move," Trixie snapped. Dash rolled her eyes and was about to reply but the pink pony came over.

"Hey, who elected you queen of seats?" the pony asked, interrupting Trixie with her high pitched voice.

"Oh, look Moondancer, we have a little do-gooder in our class this year. What are you gonna do super newbie? Shoot beams at Trixie from your eyes?" Trixie retorted, getting into the mare's face.

"Wouldn't you like to know," the pony hissed, grabbing Dash and pulled her down to the seat, but Dash tripped and dropped her box spilling the contains. She grabbed the box and sat down beside the pink pony.

"Sorry about the macrons," Dash apologized showing the mare the broken macrons it the box.

"It's fine," the pony smiled at her and Dash grinned.

"Has everypony taken their seats?" Cheerilee questioned.

"Thanks for helping me out back there," Dash praised, relieved the fight went down so well.

"No problem, it's what the Masked Matterhorn would do. She says all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good ponies do nothing," she then pointed to Trixie. "And that girl over there is evil and we are the good people, we can't let her get away with it."

"Easier said then done, I try but it doesn't work," Dash sighed.

"Well I am gonna be there right behind you," the pony comforted. Dash broken the last macron and handed one half to the mare.

"Rainbow Dash," the pegasus introduced herself.

"Pinkie Pie," the earth pony replied, taking the half macron.

"For those of you who don't know me, I am Cheerilee," the teacher started.

"Where is he? He should be here by now," Chloe moaned impatiently.

Soarin was flying towards the school in a hurry as a carriage stopped at the front of the school. A grey mare with a straight purple mane and blue eyes emerged from the carriage and yelled in a dull monotone voice, "Soarin, please reconsider, you know what your father wants." Then a large minotaur followed the mare.

"But this is what I want to do," Soarin complained, stopping at the steps. Then he saw a zebra on the ground with a walking stick out of reach. Soarin flew over helped him up and handed him his walking stick.

"Thank you for helping me, that not that young as you can see," the zebra admitted. Soarin smiled and looked back, as soon as he did his smile vanished.

"I just want to go to school like everypony else, what's so wrong with that? Please don't tell my father about this," Soarin pleaded, as they walked to the car. When they left the school Zecora was still there with a mysterious smile.

* * *

An hour later, the school bell rang and everypony started rushing and gathering their bags and books. Before they left Cheerilee made an announcement.

"Those of you who have P.E., Coach Spitfire is expecting you at the stadium. The rest of you can head over to the library," Cheerilee stated.

In the background, Dumbbell handed Bulk biceps a piece of paper. When Bulk read the paper he blushed so much his white coat became red.

"Dumbbell!" he yelled at the smirking stallion.

"Bulk Biceps, what is going on?" Cheerilee demanded, no longer as happy as her name stated.

"It's Dumbbell! I'm so gonna get..." Bulk threatened, walking towards the now nervous stallion. He scrunched up the piece of paper and clenched it in his hoof.

"Bulk, go to the principal's office, now," the teacher ordered, pointing towards the door as the pegasus angrily stormed out of the room.

* * *

Chrysalis was watching from his butterfly shaped window.
"Negative emotions. This is perfect. Just what I need. Anger, sadness... Burn a hole into his heart, my horrible akuma," he held a white butter in his magic then it became a rotting black and green akuma. the akuma flew through the hole in the window. "Fly away, my little akuma, and evilize him!"

* * *

Bulk opened the door without knocking. "Excuse me, young man. Hasn't anyone ever taught you to knock? Go on. Out you go, try it again! Go on, knock," the principle told the student .Bulk went outside and shut the door. Then, the akuma flew into the scrunched up piece of paper. A butterfly mask appeared on his face

"Stoneheart, I am Chrysalis. I give you the power to seek revenge on those who have wronged you," Chrysalis tempted as a voice in Bulk's head.

"Okay, Chrysalis," Bulk agreed, then he was surrounded by a black aura.

"Well, come on in," the principle called, not knowing what was happening outside the door. The door was ripped off its hings and the principle fell over.

"DUMBBELL!!!" the stone pony screamed, while the principle was having a heart attack under the table.

* * *

Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were in the library when suddenly, the school shook and they fell off their seats. Everypony started running everywhere. Rainbow Dash grabbed Pinkie by the hoof and dragged her over to the security cameras.

They saw a stone pony stamping his hoofs, causing earthquakes. "DUMBBELL!!!" it yelled, it was clear he was really ticked off by Dumbbell.

Another thing she saw was a great hole in the wall, if you could call it that, leading to the principle's office, who was on the phone. "Hello? This is the police? Give me the army!"

"What's going on? He had Bulk's voice?" Dash wondered, confused didn't begin to tell how she was feeling at that moment. It's not everyday a stone pony who sounds like your class mate comes to terrorize the school

"It's as if he's been transformed into a real-life super villain! GPS check. Battery check. I am so outta here!" Pinkie Pie squealed in delight and excitement.

"Hey! Where are you going!" Dash asked, beginning to wonder if her new friend was crazy.

"Where there's a super villain, there's always a superhero close behind! No way I'm missing this!" Pinkie answered galloping away. Oh yeah, she's definitely crazy.

Dash watch as the stone pony, possibly Bulk, was walking across the street and threw a carriage at the camera, while yelling, "DUMBBELL." Dash jumped in fright.

Wow, that guy does NOT like Dumbbell.

* * *

At that time, in Soarin's mansion Maud was asking him questions. "Who was the first sole ruler of the Equestria?"

"Everyone thinks it was Star Swirl, but it was actually Discord before the Great War," Soarin groaned, he couldn't be more depressed.

"Excellent, Soarin, " she complemented, but she didn't sound too impressed in her dull voice. Just then a unicorn stallion with grey skin, a black mane and petrifying red eyes entered the room. It was Soarin's father, Sombra.

"Give me a minute, would you, Maud?" Sombra asked in a serious voice.

"Yes sir," she stepped back and remained quiet.

"You are NOT going to school. I already told you," he hissed at Soarin.

Soarin stood up and tried to defend himself against his father. "But father-"

"Everything you need is right here where I can keep an eye on you. I will not head you outside in that dangerous world," Sombra interrupted.

"It's not dangerous, father. I'm always stuck in here by myself. Why can't I go on and make friends just like everypony else?" Soarin inquired, desperate to convince his father to change his mind.

"Because you are not like everyone else! You are my son! Continue," Sombra finished as Soarin sat down in defeat. He should of known his father wouldn't change.

"We can leave it there for today if you have–" Maud suggested but Soarin darted to his room. Soarin went to his room, locked the door and lay on his bed. Then the mansion started to shake a Soarin looked up.

He saw outside the window the stone pony was and a group of police ponies. "Ready, fire!" one called as the other shot the being. But it just grew bigger and yelled, "DUMBBELL," again. The police ponies scattered when the pony picked up a carriage and threw it at the head officer.

Soarin ran to the T.V. "As incredible as it seems, Ponyville is indeed being attacked by a superhero. Everypony is encouraged to stay indoors."

Rainbow Dash, who was also watching the news, was very worried now. "I hate first days back at school," Dash commented, then she noticed a small box, as did Soarin.

"What's this doing here?" they both thought out loud in unison. The two picked up the boxes and opened them.
A dark blue light surrounded Soarin's box and a gold light surrounded Dash's.

Dash looked and saw the light become a tiny pony. She had white fur, pink eyes, a horn, large wings, golden jewellery, a sun for a cutie mark and a green blue and pink flowing mane. Dash shrieked. "It's a tiny pony thingy, what the heck are you?!" Dash screamed.

"It's OK don't be scared," it comforted, fluttering over to Rainbow.

"It talks too?!" Dash shouted and she started throwing all her stuff at the flying alicorn.

* * *

While over at Soarin's, things weren't going much better. The dark blue light also turned into a a small pony, but this pony had dark blue fur, blue eyes, a horn, wings, onyx jewellery, and moon with a black background for a cutie mark and a sparkly blue and purple waving mane too.

"OK, this is the weirdest dream I've ever had," Soarin stated, staring at the miniature pony.

"This is no dream, this is all real. I'm Luna, nice to meet you. Oh what's this?"Luna gasped, as she flew over to a foosball table and bit the head of one of the figures.

"No, don't touch that, hey!" Soarin gave out, he tried to catch Luna, but she flew over to an arcade game. "Oh, shining! Can you eat this?" She bit a leather. "No, you can't! Oh what about this?"

* * *

Dash continued throwing books and pens at the pony until see was out of ammo. "Listen Rainbow Dash, I know everything may seem a bit strange to you," the mini pony started and Rainbow put a glass on her. "OK, if that makes you feel safer," the pony smiled.

"What are you and how do you know my name?" Dash repeated, not scared anymore but confused.

"I'm a kwami and my name is Celestia, now let me explain."

* * *

While Luna was trying to eat the T.V. remote, Soarin flew above her and pounced. "I still don't know what you're doing here," Soarin told Luna, wanting to know what in the name of Equestria was going on.

"Look, I'm a kwami, I grant powers, yours is the power of destruction, got it?" Luna moaned, still hungry.

"No," Soarin answered, absolutely clueless

"Good now, have you got any food I starved," Luna pouted.

"My father's pranking me, right? Wait, he couldn't, he has no sense of humor," Soarin guessed then denied his own theory. Luna then got serious.

"Your father must never know that I exist, or anyone for that matter," Luna declared, folding her tiny hoofs.

* * *

"Mom! Dad!" Rainbow Dash called, about to open the trap door, but Celestia flew right through the glass and in front of Dash.

"I your friend, Rainbow Dash, you must trust me, you're the only one that can stop Stoneheart," Celestia claimed and Dash started to believe the little pony.

* * *

Zecora looked at the remaining two miraculous. "Are you sure they'll be up to it master?" Faust questioned, a bit unsure of the zebra's decision.

"I only got it wrong once and that was then, I can assure you Faust it won't happen again," Zecora replied hiding the miraculous once again.

* * *

"This must be a mistake! The only superpower I could possibly have is super-awkwardness... I know! Pinkie would know! That's my friend. Well, at least I think she would... She loves superheroes! She'd totally be up for the job! You should totally go see her!" Dash suggested but Celestia interrupted her.

"Rainbow Dash, you are the chosen one!" Celestia revealed.

* * *

"But I'm stuck here! I'm never even let to go to school! A superhero who's imprisoned in his own house!" Soarin argued.

"No good. That's why it's all going to change soon. If you're willing to change, that is," Luna teased, as Soarin looked down at the plain silver ring that was now on his hoof.

* * *

Rainbow Dash put in the white, circular earrings. "Okay, so all I have to do is break the object where the whatchama-call-it is hiding?" Dash recapped, still unsure about everything.

"It's called an akuma. Which you must then capture," Celestia instructed.

"Got it! Capture it! And what's that charm thing again?" Dash asked, already forgetting stuff.

"The Lucky Charm! It's your secret superpower!" Celestia repeated.

"Aww... this is all going too fast, Celestia... I... won't be able to pull this off!" Dash panicked.

"Trust yourself, Rainbow Dash. Just say "Celestial magic."

"Celestial magic?" the earrings glowed gold and Celestia flew into them "Whoa! What is happening?!" Dash shouted, as light covered her body.

When in dimmed she was wearing a white suit that faded into gold on her hoofs and wings. She also had a gold mask, a yo-yo on her hip, Celestia's cutie mark on her hoofs, flank and earrings. Her mane was no longer rainbow but red, orange and yellow tied up into a bun.

* * *

"Lunar power! That's how you transform," Luna was about to explain but Soarin interrupted

"Got it. Lunar power!" Soarin commanded, sucking Luna into the ring.

"No, wait! I haven't finished explaining!" Luna cried, but it was to late.

Soarin was wearing a suit, similar to Rainbow's. His was dark blue that faded into black on his hoofs and wings. He had a black mask, a baton on his hip, Luna's cutie mark on his hoofs, flank and now black ring, and mane was darker at the edges.

"Too cool!" Soarin yelled inspecting his suit.

* * *

Rainbow Dash was looking in a mirror, not as happy as Soarin, in fact, she wasn't happy at all. "Aww... how does this thing come off? Celestia, if you can hear me, I want my normal clothes back. I'm not going anywhere!" Dash announced then she saw the T.V.

"Stoneheart is heading toward the Canterlot city. The monster seems to be unstoppable!" a reporter informed. Just then, Dash saw a pink pony appeared in the screen.

"Pinkie Pie, are you crazy?!" Dash yelled at the T.V. Then she heard her mother calling from downstairs.

"Rainbow Dash! Did you get home okay?" Dash panicked then looked around and saw a ladder.

"Uhh... yeah, Mom! Just super!" Dash replied as she climbed up the ladder leading to a balcony just as Windy opened the trap door. Was that a pun?

"Rainbow? You in here? Hon, we better call the school," Windy told Bow Hothoof. Rainbow Dash lightly closed the door.

"Okay, I have special powers!... and apparently this amazing super yo-yo thingy?" Dash wondered looking at the sun on the white yo-yo. She threw it and it caught on a gargoyle statue on the Ponyville tower. She pulled on the yo-yo and it whisked her to the other of the town.

* * *

While that was happening, Soarin was tightrope walking over his baton. "I'm starting to get the hang of this," Soarin laughed, then he saw something in the sky.

It wasn't a bird, it wasn't a plane, it was a mare falling from the sky. Rainbow had the yo-yo tied around her wings. Soarin saw the mare was about to fall on him. She fell into his hoofs. They both fell but Dash's yo-yo caught onto Soarin's baton and they got hung by the yo-yo.

"Well, hey there. Nice of you to drop in," Soarin smirked. Wow, she's cute, really cute. Soarin stared into her magenta eyes.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't do it on purpose," Dash apologized, then they wriggled out of the string and Soarin followed.

"I bet you're the partner my kwami told me about. I'm... Midnight. Yeah, Midnight. And you?" Soarin introduced himself, most of the time superheroes had secret identities so he decided to do the same.

"I'm Ra... err... Rai... uhh..." Rainbow pulled on the yo-yo that was still tied on Midnight's baton which hit Midnight. "Madly clumsy. I'm so clumsy."

"No sweat, clumsy girl. I'm learning the ropes too," Midnight stated. Suddenly, the ground trembled. Midnight looked up, saw a building falling and he starting flying to where it was.

"Hey! Where are you going?" Dash shouted, as the stallion flew farther away then stopped and looked back.

"To save Paris, right?" Midnight answered, very cocky.

"Ugh," Dash grumbled to herself. "Trust yourself, trust yourself..." she flew as fast as she could and followed Midnight to the stadium. A few ponies were there just about to leave, but Stoneheart appeared.

"DUMBBELL!! So, who's boss now?" Stoneheart teased, towering over dumbbell who was now running away from the monster, but he tripped and fell.

"Hey, it's not nice to pick up people who are smaller than you," Midnight pointed out, as he extended his baton, blocking Stoneheart from Dumbbell who was now running away.

"I guess you're talking about yourself," Stoneheart assumed, lunging at the masked stallion but he quickly dodged.

* * *

"Everything's going to plan. The sun and moon Miraculous have been activated. Here they come to save the day, and now my super villain will destroy them," Chrysalis cackled from his layer, watching everything that was happening and waiting for the miraculous to come.

* * *

Midnight was ducking and weaving as Stoneheart tried to swat him. He jumped up onto Stoneheart and hit Stoneheart with his baton, but he just got bigger

"Where are you, partner?" Midnight called, he narrowly missed the stone ponies attack. Meanwhile, Dash was standing at the steps having a mini panic attack.

"Oh, I can't. I'm not gonna be able to do it..." Dash doubted herself. The larger pegasus threw a goal at the smaller pegasus and missed but there was a certain pony recording the fight about to be hit. Midnight threw his baton just in time to save her but Stoneheart grabbed him.

"What are you waiting for, super gold pony? The world is watching you!" Pinkie Pie cried, for down in the stadium. Dash took a deep breath. She flung her yo-yo at the stone creature's feet than flew in between his legs, yanked on the string, tripping the monster. Midnight tumbled out of grip and into a goal, beside Rainbow.

"Yes!" Pinkie squeaked, jumping up and down, unable to stand still (well she's like that all the time).

"Sorry it took so long, Midnight," Dash confessed, helping the stallion pegasus up.

"It's cool, solar mare. Now, let's kick this Rocky behind!" Soarin was about to run to the monster, but Rainbow grabbed his tail.

"Wait! Haven't you noticed? He gets bigger and stronger with every attack. We have to do something different," Dash stated.

"Different how?" Midnight asked.

"Uhhh... I don't know," Dash revealed.

"Okay then. Let's use our powers. Cataclysm!" Midnight shouted and his hoof was covered in a weird aura. "Apparently I destroy whatever I touch."

"I don't need a superpower to destroy everything," Rainbow grumbled under her breath. Midnight used his cataclysm to break the goal. "No, don't do that!" but it was too late.

"Cool. It's just you and me now! Time to rumble, soon-to-be rubble!" Midnight flew up to the monster.

"Midnight! Wait!". Midnight leaped towards Stoneheart to use his Cataclysm but it didn't work.

"Uh-oh. I guess I only get one shot to use my power," he assumed smiled at the massive villain and Stoneheart threw him away back into the goal.

"And you only have five minutes before you transform back. Didn't your kwami explain anything to you?" Rainbow scolded.

"I guess I was a little excited about my new life," Midnight confessed.

"Well, up to me," Dash sighed. "Lucky Charm!" A suit appeared in her hoofs, confusing the two masked ponies.

"Super power?" Midnight questioned.

"My kwami told me I have to break the object where the whatchama-call-it... er, the akuma is hiding," Rainbow explained.

They both started inspecting the stone creature with no luck. "Well, he's made entirely out of stone," Midnight stated, but Dash was still searching.

"His right hand, it's still closed. He never opens it. It's like the Russian dolls. The object isn't on him, it's hidden in his fist!" Dash exclaimed.

"So what's your plan?" Midnight asked

"Hmmm..." Dash used her Solar Vision and Stoneheart's fist, Pinkie and a hose flashed. "This!" she finished, grabbing the hose and tying it to the suit. Then she tied Midnight's feet with her yo-yo. "Don't miss. Trust me."

"This girl's crazy!" Midnight screamed when Rainbow threw him at Stoneheart who caught him.

"Catch me if you can!" Dash taunted, jump towards the stone being with the suit still in her hand. Stoneheart dropped a scrunched up piece of paper and grabbed Rainbow. "And now... Pinkie Pie, the tap!"

Pinkie galloped to the water tap and opened it. The water flowed out and inflated the suit then Stoneheart let go of Dash. Then she ripped the akumatized object and the akuma flew away. A black aura surrounded Stoneheart causing the stone to fall off him and turned him back into Bulk.

The stones then disappeared and Midnight was in awe. "This girl is awesome. She's crazy awesome," Midnight gaped. The ripped, black paper in Rainbow's hoof glowed and turned white again.

"What's going on? What am I doing here?" Bulk asked, scratching his head.

"You were incredible, miss... uh... Sun lady. You did it!" Midnight praised.

"We both did it, partner."

At the exact same time, they fist bumped and yelled, "Pound it!" Midnight's miraculous beeped showing only one fifth of the moon left.

"You should get going. Our identities must remain secret," Rainbow stated and Midnight nodded.

"Farewell, m'lady. Let's do this again soon, okay?" Midnight called and he took off out of the stadium.

"Not too soon, I hope," Dash muttered. She saw Bulk, straightened out the paper and read it aloud. "You haven't even got the guts to tell Fluttershy you love her, wuss."

"Dumbbell wrote it. He's always making fun of me," Bulk grumbled sitting on the ground looking at his hoofs. Rainbow strolled over to him and put a hoof on his shoulder

"You know, you shouldn't get so bent out of shape about that. There's no shame in telling someone you love them, Bulk," Dash comforted.

"Hey, how did you know my name, miss?" Bulk asked and Rainbow panicked.

"Uncanny, amazing, spectacular! Are you gonna be protecting all of Equestria from now on? How did you get your powers? Were you hit by a magical comet? Oh, I've got a ton of questions to ask you, uh, miss... uhh..." Pinkie rambled.

"Uhh... Daydream! Call me Daydream," the masked mare announced then she flew away leaving a sparkly gold and white trail behind her.

"Daydream... Super awesome!" Pinkie fangirled. Is that even a word? Fangirled? Well, if nervouscited is a word so...
Pinkie! This is MY story so stop interrupting! And this makes no sense!
Screw sense! I'm Pinkie Pie!
Stop wasting the viewer's time! Or I will have somepony else to play Alya! Oh, you're quiet now aren't you? OK, roll the next scene!

* * *

"So thanks to this amateur footage, the Parisians now know the identities of their heroes!" the TV reporter showed Pinkie's video of Daydream flying away.

"I did it, Celestia!" Dash squealed, back in her room and out of the superhero costume.

"You see? You were up to it!" Celestia cheered.

"Marinette! Dinner time!" Windy called from down stairs and Rainbow climbed down the trap door.

* * *

"I am pleased to announce that we will organize a huge celebration in honor of our city's new protectors. Daydream and Midnight ," the mayor declared

"Daydream. Her name is Daydream..." Soarin cooed. Luna was observing the four dishes prepared for her and was disgusted.

"Oh, what is this?" Luna complained, holding a fruit salad with ice cream in a glass.

"Seriously? My personal chef made all this!" Soarin pointed out to the ungrateful kwami.

"If you expect me to get my energy back after the transformation, I need to eat something more... delicate!" Luna stated, throwing the dessert on the ground.

"Okay. What do you want?" Soarin sighed.

The released akuma flew up and landed on top of the Ponyville flag pole. The rotting butterfly flapped his wings furiously and it multiplied. Thousands of akumas flew away to different directions, including cities bordering Ponyville.

"Just as Ponyville is about to celebrate the appearance of out two new superheroes, Daydream and Midnight, a new wave of panic is sweeping across the capital as dozens of people are mysteriously transformed into stone monsters. It's simply unbelievable," the TV announcer reported.

"Camembert cheese. Fantastic. All he eats is Camembert, which means I'm gonna smell like stinky old cheese," Soarin complained.

"These victims transformed into stone beings are still like statues. The police are perplexed to what will happen to them. Will they come back to life or be frozen in time forever?" the reporter continued.

"Luna? What's going on? I thought we defeated him," Soarin wondered.

"Did you catch the akuma?" Celestia and Luna asked in unison.

"What's capturing the akuma got to do with the other stone beings?" Rainbow panicked.

"An akuma can multiply, that's why it must be captured. If Bulk's emotions become negative again, then the akuma will turn him back into Stoneheart! He'll control all the stone beings and bring them to life to serve as his army!" Celestia explained.

"So that means... this is all my fault? I knew it! See, Celestia? I'm not cut out to be a superhero! I'm only gonna keep messing up."

"Keep calm. It was your first time. You're going to go back and capture Stoneheart's akuma, and do it successfully!"

"I can't! I told you, I'm clumsy! I create disaster all the time! I'll only make things worse for me, for you and for everyone. Midnight will be better off without me. I'm quitting."

"So I can't do anything without Daydream?"

Luna stoke her head. "Only Daydream can capture akumas and repair damage caused by super villains."

"If Midnight can't capture the akumas, then... just find another Daydream. I told you, I'm not cut out to be Daydream! I'm sorry Celestia," Dash apologized as she took out her earrings.

"No, don't do tha--"

Rainbow looked around to see Celestia, but she was nowhere in sight. "...Celestia? I'm really sorry, Celestia..." Dash put the earrings in the box and put it into a drawer.

"Bulk has a sensitive heart. It won't be long before anger and sadness strike again. And he and the stone beings will come alive. Then we'll see how long you will remain hidden, Daydream and Midnight. Once I have your Miraculous, you will be powerless against me. Everyone will be powerless against me! I will have absolute power!" Chrysalis yelled. "Mwahahahaha!"

Really? Again with cackling? Ugh, villains.
