Instead, her destiny was to find new Bearers and give them as much or as little guidance as they needed. Even if it took a thousand years.

Sunburst looks back on his accomplishments, and lack thereof, at Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, as he decides whether or not to continue his studies at the prestigious mage's institution.

A decade after uniting with the other tribes under the banner of Equestria, there are some fading traditions that the warrior pegasi cling to. One of those is an honor foal for the most commendable female officers; an opportunity to bear a foal of their line while remaining counted as on duty, with full support of the tribe in its care and upbringing.

When Major Pansy is granted an honor foal, she sees it as a chance to offer the strength of her line to the future of Equestria, despite having let her service to tribe and country prevent her from ever having found a suitable mate. But she knows just the pony she wants for its father: a strong pony, a brave and skilled soldier, a wise commander, and the dearest of friends. Considering it, she may want even more from him than a sire for her foal.

But Commander Hurricane has always protected his emotions with a stony mask and an armor constructed so that nopony can pierce it. Especially not the one pony he holds above all others in his esteem: the hopeless soldier who once stood before him for discharge with the true spirit of a pegasus shining through her.  

Set in the same continuity as Sun and Hearth and Respect and Respectability, but neither are required reading.

This story is a sequel to After The Bachelorette Party

We all know the story. Princess Cadance is ponynapped, Twilight Sparkle and the others battle the Changelings, Pinkie Pie uses the first Unicorn Gatling gun, and Equestria is saved.
But what about the original bridesmaids? What about Lyra, Minuette, and Twinkleshine? Who saved them? Who came to their rescue down in the depths of the Canterlot caves? The Changelings know. Unfortunately, they had to find out the hard way. Lyra is Bon Bon's entire world, and she will do whatever it takes to get her back. And only one thing ticks Berry Punch off more than coming between her and her drinks, and that's coming between her and Minuette.
Feel sorry for the Changelings. Very sorry.

Sequel story to After The Bachelorette Party

Berry Punch wakes up in Canterlot to find that her love is not snuggled warmly next to her. Worse, she can remember everything from the day and evening, which means she wasn't out drinking and lost track of things. That just leaves one question. One question that causes her no small amount of worry:
Where is Minuette?

Rated 'Teen' because of heavy cider usage, or rather the effects of said uses.
