After a party to welcome the season of Nightmare Night, the library becomes the target of strange activity. Minor annoyances prelude greater events, and soon Twilight and Spike each take action to handle the situation in their own way. All the while, questions hang in the air. What lingers amongst the shelves? What watches from the corners? What stands just behind you only to disappear when you turn to look?

What is in the library, and what does it want?

A year after the "Want it, Need it" incident, Twilight has finally managed to move on from the embarrassment. She doesn't even care that Big Mac has Smarty Pants anymore. There are times to let go of old toys.

Unfortunately, some toys just won't stay put away...

What happens when Twilight wakes up the day after her coronation? Faced with fear and confusion, Twilight attempts to find answers, but accidentally summons the Nightmare who uses Twilight to once again cast darkness over Equestia. The main six are the only ponies who can stop the Nightmare using the Elements of Friendship, but now Twilight's best friends with Spike must find a replacement for the element of magic to defeat the Nightmare and save Twilight from herself. They are able to convince Trixie, who is reasonably talented in magic, to accompany them on their quest. . . but is magic the answer, or is it a matter of trust and friendship?

This story is a sequel to Avatar: The Last Alicorn. Book 1: Pegasus

This is a parody of avatar the last airbender, using ponies! Following the first book, will Avatar Twilight be able to find an earth bending master, as well as develop the skills to add a third element to her repertoire? Will her new skills allow her to keep one step ahead of her newest, and possibly greatest, enemy, the young Sweetie Belle?

This is the order the five senses develop in for foals as they rest, cradled in the warm safety of a mother’s womb. But for one, her womb was a thorn bush in the dark of night. For one, the safety and warmth that should have carried her into the world was replaced with pain and cold.

These are Nyx's first hours.

It has been a few months since Twilight and her friends went to help save the Crystal Empire, and Twilight had to use dark magic to find the Heart. And ever since she got back, Twilight's been acting strange spending most of her time muttering to herself, hearing voices, and locking herself up in her now 'off limits' lab basement.

In an alternate universe, Prince Sombra and Princess Twilight are the future rulers of Canterlot Kingdom. Prince Sombra has a gift. He can make black crystals! But when his powers injure his sister, his parents lock him up away from her.

After their parents pass, Coronation Day comes, naming Prince Sombra the new King. But when an accident causes his powers to slip, he puts a curse on the kingdom, and flees. Now, Princess Twilight is headed out to go find him. She is accompanied by a Crystal Pony/ Snowman named Cadence, an Earth Pony named Big Macintosh, and his dog, Winona.

But what she doesn't know is that King Sombra has not just put a curse on the kingdom, but himself.

Twilight has always been one of Celestia's best students. But when power corrupts Twilight, Celestia will be faced with a choice. Kill her student or let the whole of Equestria perish?

This takes place in the same universe as the IDW Comics that featured Rarity turning into Nightmare Rarity.
