It has been a few months since Twilight and her friends went to help save the Crystal Empire, and Twilight had to use dark magic to find the Heart. And ever since she got back, Twilight's been acting strange spending most of her time muttering to herself, hearing voices, and locking herself up in her now 'off limits' lab basement.

Enjoying this so far. While some twilight corruption stories (which usually have a very, very similar premise to this by the way, no worries there) often are very drawn out to the point it will take the entire story before she is even remotely evil, it is refreshing to see a straight-to-the-point story like this every once in a while

I have one idea but you may not like it..... make the rest of the mane 6 Twilight's little puppets. Yes it has been done to death in other stories but in my personal opinion this is the only sure fire way of making Equestria bend to a villains will. Killing them won't work because the Elements will just move to new hosts. If you corrupt them however they can be used against the very ponies they were made to protect.
I just read chapter 3 and then left and when I did I say the chapter 4 is out... Good work with the updates and the story.
