This story is a sequel to When the Man Comes Around

The ninth story in The Journey of Graves.

Graves is gone, departed for parts unknown without so much as a backwards glance. A quick farewell and a cold goodbye is all the marshal left before severing every tie he ever had to Ponyville, including those with Rarity.

Why? He's a soldier and it was obvious he'd one day have to leave. But the way he left, so abruptly, even callously... it just doesn't seem right. Could it be that there's something more to his departure than meets the eye? Or are thoughts like that merely fancy and wishful thinking? To find the truth, Rarity and the girls start down a long, winding road that will hopefully bring the grey eyed soldier back. Hopefully.

[Complete!] When Rainbow Dash crashes into the library one too many times, Twilight ends up becoming her coach for the upcoming Best Young Flier Competition. But Rainbow Dash wants more, and relationships are never as perfect as they seem.

UPDATE: COMPLETE! You may have heard of Pipsqueak. He's a pinto colt, originally from Trottingham, saved Nightmare Night from being abolished seven odd years ago. Know the one I'm talking about? Yes? Good. Since then he's grown into a charming, cultured hedonist who wants to bed near every mare in Ponyville and a good few of the stallions. He has a slender build and some ponies say he has mares' hips, though he feels that those ponies should shut their bloody mouths. Saved from the harsh wilds of urban earth by a 20 year old carpenter, Rainbow Dash must now learn to cope in this new realm full of walking talking magicless hairless and merciless monkeys. Meet Cyr. He's one of the last of his breed: A Changeling Behemoth, living battering rams that are selected and mutated from the worker caste of the Hive. Aged from centuries of labor and service to his Queen, he grows disgusted and weary of the Changeling's plots and malevolent attempts to feed on love, especially after his capture during the Canterlot wedding. Thus begins a new (and possibly more enjoyable) chapter of his existence.

Rarity has fallen hard for the lavender mare from Canterlot, but there is just one problem, that certain mare from Canterlot is completely oblivious to it all. Thus, Rarity does everything in her power to escape the dreaded friend zone, from skywriting to asking Twilight's parents for help. But will it be enough? Probably not. After all, Twilight is rather naive, but a mare's gotta try.

Twilight Sparkle goes to the Apple Family farm to retrieve Smarty Pants from Big Macintosh, and realizes that she may have done some damage to him. Concerned for his well-being, Twilight Sparkle works to ween him off his new condition, and consults with an expert on the subject. Over the following weeks, she realizes how troublesome taking care of anypony can be a hassle.

Princesses Celestia and Luna are in for quite a shock when they get a surprise visit from their own parents: The rulers of the galaxy itself, King Artemis and Queen Solianna.

They haven't visited Equestria in two million years, and are excited to see what a great job their little 'Tia' and 'Lu-lu' has done. Unfortunately, the rulers of the galaxy are a bit 'out of touch.' What will they think of Luna's temper tantrum 1,000 years ago? Or Celestia's humiliating defeat at the hands of a giant love-bug during the wedding?

And of course, what about their faithful subjects, especially Twilight Sparkle and her rather interesting companions? And what will the subjects think when they realize the creators of the galaxy are just a couple of wackjobs?
