Hearth Warming's Eve is Sweetie Belle's favorite holiday, because it guarantees full family time with her parents and her sister. For the first year ever, Sweetie Belle has saved up enough money to buy something nice for Rarity. But will she be able to find the perfect gift in time?

ok, interesting. :moustache:

Just a little story to get in the holiday spirit:raritywink:

I thought this was really cute and heartwarming!

And you know, I love the idea that Sweetie Bell made a scarf, because I had the same idea about her making kind of poor quality scarves for ponies in her family -- There's a very brief mention of such in the holiday story I'm working on. It made me smile that we had the same idea, sort of.

I hope someone gives me a new heart for Christmas, because mine has just melted.

I don't know why, but fluids are coming out of my eyes. This is highly irregular, since this never happens, not to mention my heart feels like soup.

Anyways, this was a beautifully written story.
10 out of 10, in my opinion.

awwwww so sweet, I loved this story!!! :'D and i discovered a thing, Sweety Bell has became my second favourite character :unsuresweetie:, and guess who's my first favourite xD yep, Rarity :raritywink:

Happy Hollydays for you too, and thanks for sharing this amazing story with us.

Alt. Title: The Fantasmicly Awesome 'N' Perfect Christmas Special With Rarity And Sweetie Belle (This Is A Lot Better Then Defender2222's, Isn't It?)

Home made gifts are always better than store bought ones because you can never put a price on them, that's what makes them so special.

Also I guess Sweetie Belle hasn't seen "Frosty Returns" cause if she did she would know that you NEVER open a window in the middle of winter when you have a hat, cause it'll blow away and in this case there was no talking snowman for the hat to land on. :rainbowlaugh:

(Sorry I couldn't resist)

Great minds think alike:ajsmug:

Nice short, but sweet story about Hearth's Warming Eve. Had almost expected things to go well, up until the part where hat conveniently blew out the window. :ajbemused: Confused as to how it got ruined so fast, even from brief bit of snow that was falling through Ponyville, but eh, minor gripe for me. But then, got surprised at the whole attempt Sweetie Belle made at making scarf like the hat, apparently (on skimming first for some reason, thought she had used materials from the hat itself, even if read how ruined it was beforehand) and how Rarity seemed to take it in stride, even if I personally would see her fussing over things like she noticed. :duck: But still, was nice and done well!

There was already snow on the ground in Ponyville :)

Well, I implied got that as well probably, but not like specified if hat flew straight down upright (how it rests on somepony's head, when they wear it) or upside-down (as I'm probably now thinking) or if impacted somehow in the snow, if it was deep enough. dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/emoticons/sillyfilly_Sweetie_Belle.png But eh, it's a moot point, so don't gotta fix it or worry about explaining again to me, one of only so many people who read and commented on this. :twilightblush:
