im gonna guess nightmare and luna were one and the same in this story seeing how nightmare seems to have killed herself from isolation. I am interested to see how things will progress on both sides when the main story starts as on one side we will have twilight sent to ponyville only for nothing of note to happen and on the other side is whatever new nightmare gets up to.

It usually ends in me liking the fic, asking for more and waiting.
I'll go with the flow and say that it's between decent and good, it feels nice how it starts, not like the sometimes used "I appeared and got the memories of the previous inhabitant, let's see what I do with this information" which is usually quite boring

Will we see a harsher princess Celestia, ready to go into battle herself to fight her sister? It can be interesting to follow that path even if I was expecting to be slightly closer to canon on that point.
Can't imagine what will Celestia's reaction be at Nightmare Moon return, it will depend on Nightmare Moon's mental condition I guess. If she is more human than pony or not.

I have a feeling that there is no one to save.
Pretty sure Celestia is going to think this different Nightmare Moon is trying to trick her if she tries to act innocent, while our protagonist probably isn't going to agree to let the elements blast them. I'm sensing conflict ahead.
