This one's self-explanatory. Both of them signify the same thing because they're—as far as you the character can tell—united in pace for the same reason and in want of the same desire, so they may as well be closely related/similar/complementary to/of one another.

In this instance, you the character cannot see Spitfire, but can feel her against you. You can't entirely tell if she is or isn't quivering due to this, as such you're making an assumption that could be false.

The heartbeat wasn't synonymous, inly was SYNCHRONIZED.
Ostensibly is only for when sometimes is stated to be so, but you can't tell for sure. She is visually confirmed to be quivering, so it's not ostensible. It's obvious. The word should be "noticably" quivering.
Holy moley, that was amazing! I particularly like the attention you brought to depression, as that needs to be addressed and understood better by those have someone in their life who suffers from it. I try to do the same.
Also, love the sensuality and attention to detail. I expected a "human walks in, get amazing blowjob," not this amazing romantic story. Great job!
