Loved this concept. Especially love Chrysalis' plan.

Like she said, deliciously ironic.

Don't these festival have intense security like inhibitor fields, de-spelled fields, anti-morphing fields?

Neigh. Its too low priority and over a wide area.

nice work on both chaprters.

How frequent will the updates be?

It says right in the description of the story.

Ah, I overlooked that, sorry.

Surely the kinks must be egging us on or perhaps they could lead to a pregnant pause.

This... isn't going to work out for Chryssy, is it? She'll be found -- but it won't end in a bad way...

Honestly, I figured her plan was playing cuckoo from the time of getting caught in the castle.

So... sequel? This is like 100% sequel hook right there...

The commissioner did mention sequel opportunities, we will have to see.

I sure hope for a sequel, as this was awesome!

I read the first story maybe a year or two ago, and just got around to finding this one... Its a wonderful story and I've greatly enjoyed reading it... I'm glad Chrissy did what was right and managed to save her grubs... Even if she is 'evil' she still has a heart filled with love for her children.

With chest heaving, and her horn glowing brightly, the queen’s wide eyes flicked this way and that, a dark and terrible thought forming in her mind. “There is only one thing I can do now, only one way to ensure this plague stops here.” She muttered, her voice falling to the point that it was barely above a whisper. “Yes, it's the only way to make sure, I have to do this.”

Wow talking of post delivery depression:pinkiegasp:

Figured I would hop back over to see if you had a sequel done yet. Sitting on the edge of my seat to see how the rest of the story goes.

Probably wont be for a little while. Got plenty of other stuff coming down the pipe though.

Neat story, keep up the good work.

I always thought that everything that happened to Chrysalis is just terribly-terribly sad. She wasn't a very good person, but she was a loyal queen to her drones. They were strong enough to even capture Equestria once. That alone already had to take much care from her. Instead of being grateful to her, Changelings just turned on her the second they saw a way of sustaining themselves without her leadership. Chrysalis just got the pointy end of the stick every time, even from her own children.

“True, though this is no of Battle of Agincourt.” Cheerilee replied only to wince and facepalm. “Sorry, that must have sounded random. I’ve been visiting Twilight too much and we both share a love for history which I’m afraid is all I can think about right now.”

Agincourt was a battle that took place in real life though. I know so because it's the first verse of Europa by Globus
From Agincourt to Waterloo
Poitiers and then Anjou
The Roses War, the Hundred Years
Through battlefields of blood and tears…

That was indeed the point.
