How many chapters long will this story be?

I played Golden Sun...
10271895
If I had to take a guess... A lot.
10271895
Encyclopedia Britannica (unabridged) x 5.
That is the minimal guess from the author.
What would Fareed do if Celestia visited? (Other than complain about it)
"Nothing 'bad' happened today"
Welp... there goes tomorrow then. Murphy don't forget Verik you KNOW this
Well… at least we got a nice little soccer game at the beginning.
Once again, the was a very good chapter. The stuff with Verik and the foals was delightfully heartwarming and the stuff with Fareed and Nawra was both suspenseful and heartbreaking.
Fareed as a truly Irredeemable creature, who makes the Roman emperors look like a bunch of pussies.
But the best and worst part about that scene between him and Nawra? Is that despite how cruel and evil his logic may be, there is some degree of truth in what he says to her.
Looking forward to the next chapter!
Well I'm going out on a limb here and ask: Has Fareed figured out Verik's existents yet?
10273340
Entertain her like all his other guests, only he would probably have an easier time pulling the wool over her eyes than the local nobility and royalty. Of course being a "goody two hooves" means she has to die so there would be an assassin after her not long after the visit. He is quite civilized after all, one does not assassinate ones guests while they are still your guests, to do otherwise would be barbaric.

Thank you, I wanted Fareed to make sense in his motives here in that he is juggling law, justice, a diplomatic issue (a royal guest) and also his own ulterior motives. Had some trouble writing that part as it never sounded quite right and wound up editing it several times. Guess I made it sound "Fareed" enough from your review. Heartwarming and heart shattering... Nailed it.

Sounds about right for Fareed.
Shame he doesn't quite understand why she can't go off and die, but it was made quite clear that the rulers out there aren't quite THAT well educated either. Nawra fell for a pretty obvious trap after-all, and worse still now shes discredited herself wholesale in any future debates/discussions.
10274487
Well it is set in a "dark age" as was hinted at in Dana's chapters. As for a trap, no, he did not plan this event but as the saying goes: "Never allow a good crisis to go to waste." He is smart enough not to pass anything up even if he knows its all crap, Freed is an opportunist. Also as I told someone else: I wanted to portray that Nawra is also naive in some ways but also handicapped by her desire to do good. Fareed sort of beat her over the head with that in this chapter. It is an example of why evil has such an easy time thriving.

mhmm, and she fell into the trap of hypocrisy, she is disadvantaged in ANY conversation/debate from here on out as a result.
What is the time period that Verik is in?
10299693
Medieval, very early. Not set absolutely because I enjoy toying with things but I set things as post-civilization and early dark ages. I hinted at this in some chapters, namely with Dana and when Verik visited Alzamard, showing how civilization has collapsed and this part of the world is in utter chaos.
Welp, this was the expected outcome, the moment I read that thieves get their hand chopped off, I knew this was to happen.
