Hard to believe we're already 100k. Here's to 100k more, Cheers!
I really liked this chapter. Good stuff.
And so the revolution is beginning to form....
Wonder when he meets the ponies
I love this so much, he's started it off and now his plans shall roll like the wheel
Good an update! unexpected! but not irritating, teasing but not a cliffhanger either, foreshadowing plainly. You're a interesting one.
Work hard. Rest plenty. Take your time, But don't take too long. -Fenrir
A war is quite popular in stories, but with this one, it is pretty damn satifying to see it coming.

Being Zebrica the odds of meeting a pony are low but who knows what the future holds!

I do not like random "lets kick their asses" wars or on the fly ones. Wars happen for a reason whether anyone agrees with those reasons or not.
9203509
Revolution... Or an act of conquest?
9203344
Thank you!

But what is a wheel without a wagon?
9204269
A wheel without a wagon is nothing but a spare part
9204308
Guess one needs to get started building the wagon then... (What I said earlier was a metaphorical question)
9204269
Conquest is such a strong word. Besides this would be classified as either a mercanary revolt or peasants uprising. Since it’s from the inside it wouldn’t seen as an invasion. Even if to them the protagonist looks like a failed abortion between a D-dog and Minotaur.
9204884
I am a strong believer in conquest, it is such a lovely word that cuts through all the political bullshit. Also the mercenary thing is just a front for whatever else he does. Kind of like running a repair shop when you are really a chop shop. Peasant revolt... Yeah, that would be a fair assessment in one light.
9204940
In the end it only matters how the public sees it. If it’s a conquest the peasant will see him as another tyrant. But if he’s a revolutionary, they will be more likely to support him.
He will need their support since mercenaries won’t be a true option since he’s gunna have to kill most of them to take power.
9204986
And thus the world of politics spins for the question remains: just how pure of heart is the rebel? Does he wage war for the people? For personal gain? Maybe both?
9204997
The public will still, in the beginning at least, side with a revolutionary than they would a conqoruer. Besides, with how bad the last guy was, it wouldn’t be to hard to win their ‘loyalty’. Make a half asses effort to rid the bandits, tax a somewhat reasonable amount, maybe even help repair the cities if the being in question can bothered to do so. At the very least half the country would see him as a hero. No matter how wrong they are. The other half, would see him as an improvement or lesser evil and most likely fall in line.
And knowing the protagonist, it’s a mixture of personal gain and ‘justice’ only a feudal ruler can give.

We shall see shall we not? Almost everything (story ideas, history, etc) is written out on a notebook, all I am doing is taking those concepts and fleshing them out into chapters. Fact remains it shall be a very bumpy ride no? No despot in the history of the world ever just "rolled over" allowing someone to topple them and revolutions are usually incredibly bloody.

True. Let’s just hope he knows to always check his wine. More than a couple killed in that cliche.
Besides that, keep it up man. The fic has been pretty good so far and it’s not everyday you see one that add the whole revolution to king process. Well... Or revolution to hanged for treason as well, would love to see that happen one day.
One tip, doubt you’ll fall for it, but when writing battles don’t forget the emotion aspect of commanding. No commander, unless mentally ill, can fully seperate emotion from their commanding. They are going to make mistakes, loose battles, and not always think straight. Unless if your just OP Alexander The Great but he’s special.
Great chapter, the story was moving a little slow for me overall but it kept me interested. This chapter has fully renewed my interest and am looking forward to more.
But should't the human be way better at running over long distances.because body temperature and fur do not go well with heat.
That's the reason we lost our fur, because it is a clear cooling advantage in a savanna like environment.
Am a bit annoyed at his continued snipps that our world is worse than some slavering, child murdering society.
But I suppose he comes from the USA, so I guess I see his point.
Things... just got interesting
It begins
Verik says stuff like that and I want to fight too!
Ok, This is not a fic, this is in a whole other level. This quality is specter on books but not on fics, I’m honestly impressed by your work.
Now I want to play mount and blade lol

Yeah, it's retarted, but I suppose basic biology is not a thing in this story.
The author should do some research.
