It actually was proofread, but this isn't the first time my phone messed up something during copy-paste.
The story's actually kind of cute, just a little too short and underdeveloped. I'd drop that occasional foray into first-person narration, if only because it seems a bit inconsistent and makes you question just who the narrator is supposed to be.
Also, you tend toward run-on and comma-spliced sentences, which can make your descriptions read a bit clunky. Good effort with the characterization, though.
