This is very interesting. I don't think I've ever seen a story, especially involving Equestria Girls, do a shipping story after the series has technically ended. I highly doubt they'll take Equestria Girls into their 30's, and that's why this story has started out so well.
When you mesh it together with the retelling of the past and how they ended up being like they are in their 30's, it really adds a great dichotomy and is also unique in its own way.
So far, I am in love with this story. It is very fluid, pacing is done well, and characterization is impeccable. I can't say much about older Sunset and Twilight because they're older, number one, so you can't flesh out the same energy and quirkiness that comes with being a teenager, but 30-year-olds are far from boring. I can't wait until I read this next chapter.
And onwards I go!
I love it! I am sad that they had that falling out, but they were better for it, and it allowed them to become closer than ever. I have to give you high praise for showing the difference in attitudes and emotion between the younger and older versions of Sunset and Twilight. I cannot imagine how I would show that through writing, but subtlety is a virtue in writing, and it was the small things that made this story amazing.
I loved the chemistry between these two that you showed. I could totally see how these two would be perfect for each other, and that's besides my preconceived notions of SunLight being OTP.
So far, your story is my favorite in the contest. I hope that you win! I don't know whether that's been decided or not yet, though. I haven't kept track.
