Good story but I would change the spike getting sick part that is just gross but other than that good story.

7145281 Since were on the topic, what would be a good enemy for dragons? I have a another Ember story in the works where she unites the dragons into a nation and ends up being attacked by some other race. I was either thinking maybe chinese style dragons, or maybe cyclops or some monster like that.

Other dragons make sense but since she's the dragon lord they would listen to her. I can see the ponies being an enemy forcing spike to choose a side. Wolves are great hunters, griffins are enemies to dragons in some myths and a great one would be Linnorms
7145423 I was going off of Dr. Wolf's or maybe it was Silverquills theory that there are multiple dragon clans and Ember just rules the dragon's of Equestria. I had though of griffons, but I don't know how well they would match up to dragons, the mlp Griffons anyway. I think griffons are bigger in normal myths. So her fighting other dragon clans may be the best way to go.

Linnorms are the pre-historical version of dragons and more aggressive. As for her leading the dragons in Equestria if you look closely they aren't in Equestria once they arrive for the dragon summit. They are in the dragon lands. The world the ponies live in are massive and Equestria is one of the nations in it. Like saddle arbria and griffstone and yak yak stan.
