This story is a sequel to Let's Kill Tirek

No one has said ever said that being the Dragon Lord was easy, even under normal circumstances, but in the early days of her reign, Ember has been performing her duties admirably, walking the delicate balance of Draconian politics with aplomb. However, during a diplomatic visit to Equestria, she runs into a snag when she finds herself in the crosshairs of the lovestruck tail of the local chimera. It seems that it's not particularly wise to get between a viper and the dragon of her dreams.

Just waiting for Agatha to realise that Ember looks like a very much more female version of Spike? :raritywink:

“Well, let’s put it to a vote,” Eleanor said. “All in favor of smacking around the dragon princess, say ‘aye.’”

“Aye!” Irene and Eleanor said in unison.

“Those opposed?” Eleanor continued.

“Screw you,” Agatha said.

“Isn’t that what we’re trying to do?” Irene asked.

This is why I'm following you, K.

“It’s a bit complicated to go into at the moment,” Twilight replied, “especially since we really need to get going. Can I trust you to make sure Irene doesn’t move too fast with Spike? I don’t think he’s quite ready for anything physical yet.”

“Oh, uh, sure...” Agatha said, in a somewhat dazed tone.

“Thanks,” Twilight said as she exited her castle with Starlight. “Let me know how you like the book!”

“Sure thing,” Agatha called back. As the two ponies walked off, she turned to Eleanor. “So, we’re going to kill her, right?”

And this too.

Yay! More Silly Chimera Sisters!:moustache:

“And, well, even though at first I just wanted to see where it would go, I’m starting to think it’s getting serious.”

D'aww. :yay:

“Sure thing,” Agatha called back. As the two ponies walked off, she turned to Eleanor. “So, we’re going to kill her, right?”

:rainbowlaugh:

as far as I can tell, there's no consistent way to determine the color of a dragon's flame, I decided to go with a blue flame

Canon-wise, I'm pretty sure every dragon but Spike has an ordinary red-orange-yellow flame. But hey, it's your story so go nuts!:pinkiecrazy:

"Sure thing,” Agatha called back. As the two ponies walked off, she turned to Eleanor. “So, we’re going to kill her, right?”

As much as I wanted someone to stop the previous fight, I find that I'm pretty okay with this one. I love the insanity of these ships!

I'm forced to ask: have they met Rarity by this point? I feel like this is the sort of thing that should've come up before now.

Nitpicking aside, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. I can't believe I'm this invested in a crack-pairing, yet here we are.

Honestly, I feel like Ember didn't spit any fire, because she COULDN'T... Nearly Drowning the way she did probably extinguished her "inner furnace" for a while.

I'm aware that Ember doesn't actually breathe fire in her episode, however, since as far as I can tell, there's no consistent way to determine the color of a dragon's flame, I decided to go with a blue flame since it looked prettier in my imagination than all the other colors. I figure that I can always change it if it turns out it's some other color in a later episode.

So... Ember was either eating a lot of Copper(I) Chloride for some reason, or breathing in a lot of Butane.
Or magic, if you wanted to go the less sciency boring route.

I was very glad to see an addition to this little series and it did not disappoint.

“Sure thing,” Agatha called back. As the two ponies walked off, she turned to Eleanor. “So, we’re going to kill her, right?”
Perfect ending.

That was delightful, full of the wonderful blend of action and farce that I've come to expect from your Chimera Sisters stories. Also, it as very nice to see a proper Ember in a fanwork, not just Dragonlord Tsundergar. Thank you for it.

Such shipping! :rainbowlaugh:

Commence read.

Glad to see more of the Fire Swamp's lovely chimera sisters.

Though that jealousy may cause problems, again.

7222907 Spike's fire is green, so, yeah. I'm going with magic.

7223342 They are quite lovely... perhaps I should go on a date with them...

(Chimera's creepy furry sense tingles in warning...)

Later: The Chimera shudders, their backs (and Irene's face) were against a conveniently placed towering cliff, as the horrifying creature approached menacingly, dripping grease from its pimply, pockmarked face. "N-now, there's n-no point to this! You're not a snake, or tiger, or goat OR dragon!" Agatha whimpered. "You are most certainly not compatible!"

"Ah, but have you ever even heard of humans before?" the disgusting creature gurgled.

"Well..." Ellenor considered. "No... but..."

"Then we won't know until I try!" the monkey monster cackled and leapt upon his helpless victim!

Which promptly shredded him to bloody pulp.

"Huh," Irene blinked. "That was actually pretty pathetic."

:trollestia:

7223192 Chimera so jelly of all the new characters.

Now we need to get Ellenor hooked up with the Manticore in Trixie's act!

...

Wait... that might actually work in this setting... :pinkiecrazy:

Good to see that Agatha is as much an idiot as her sisters in the end.

This was very funny. Well done.

Have the mods still not got around to adding a Ember tag?

It'd turn out like this chapter, I'd imagine. Spike's one-sided infatuation with Rarity causes a misunderstanding, Rarity ends up pointing out she's easily twice his age or more and while he's a fine little drake she's looking for an adult, Irene keeps Spike. ... Same story, different circumstances.

Irene likes-likes Spike.
Agatha likes-likes Twilight.
That just leaves Eleanor, right?

I vote Discord for her. He's got personality, style, and panache. He also seems the most capable and likely to help Eleanor manifest some chimera pups, if for no other reason than it would cause so much chaos throughout this particular mass shippage. Whether the pups will actually resemble anything of the sort? That's a whole other issue.

7236478 - Eleanor's situation is that she's basically asexual, but she REALLY wants babies. Thus, she doesn't give a damn who her sisters sleep with, so long as that coupling can produce young chimeras for her to raise (hence why she finds Agatha's attraction to females a nuisance).

7237130

Ah, but you fail to understand that everypone must be shipped at all times! It's a universal law of fanfiction! Eleanor cannot escape through simple asexuality! Muwahahahahahahaha....!

:rainbowwild:

...she's basically asexual, but she REALLY wants babies.

Also, awkward much?

"Look, honey, I know how much this means to, well, the three of you, but... could your sister show just a teensy bit more enthusiasm? She's just so not interested that its really killing my mood."

Next story: Agatha borrows more books, turns out to be a brilliant mathematician and comes up with some super complex formula that changes the way ponies look at physics/magic.

Agatha is then given an honorary professorship at Celestia's school for gifted unicorns and the sisters are required to give a lecture at the school in Canterlot to explain the new theory.

7239459
With sarcastic/annoyed quips from Eleanor during Agatha's lecture.

7248439

Of course! :pinkiehappy:

'If Agatha had spent less time with her head in the clouds, and more time focusing on being a predator, we wouldn't have gone hungry so often' etc

This was a great read and a perfection addition to the chimera series! :pinkiehappy: Both Agatha and Irene are so adorable with their jealousy over their potential mates. I hope someday Eleanor gets her little cubs to raise too. Personally, I'd love to see the next story be about Agatha trying to convey her feelings to Twilight!

Now we need a story where Discord gets involved with the Chimera.
Discord: Constantly fighting with your other heads is about as disharmonious other beings can get. With the rights to the video I've made Fluttershy can make a fortune. What you don't think I need money do you?

7222025 Yes, that!

Interesting take on a tripartate being though. This added an nice twist on motivations, though Booster Spice has the bulk of it. So expected that as an outcome!

So, we saw Ember breathing fire in the Season 7 premiere, and I immediately thought of this story.

Still a good read, even nearly a year later. I hope this isn't the last we see of the chimera sisters.

Is there going to be a sequel???

This fic is funnier and sweeter than ought to be possible.
