Lot of little logic holes and misthink in this story. Particularly:
Boy I'd love to know where YOU went to school, because damn. When you factor in time to get to school and time to get home from school, it's usually much closer to nine.
Why would Sunset Shimmer describe clothes in such a bizarre way when a lot of ponies, especially in Canterlot, choose to wear clothes? Clothes should not be this alien a concept to Sunset Shimmer that she would feel the need to describe them like this.
I...highly doubt that SciTwi just randomly started wearing the exact same clothes as Princess Twilight. It doesn't follow logic. Even if she shed the Crystal Prep uniform, she strikes me as the type who would dress somewhat differently, like turtlenecks and long skirts. Minor nitpick.

That's...completely backwards. Losing yourself in a crowd and using a crowd as a massive pack of obstacles is a far superior way to shake a tail. An empty hall means nobody to hide behind and nobody between you and them.
The concept behind this story is cute, but the execution is somewhat lacking. As much as I love Sunset Shimmer clop, I'm afraid I won't be tracking.

Well actually I was going by the actual average for American students to be in school. I don't know if that calculates in time traveled between home and school. So I guess that would put on an hour or so if you did.
The point I'm trying to make there is "all the time". In Equestria, clothes are worn by people for special events, high society, sporting events, unique flare; but not really worn by everyone every day. I guess what I'm trying to get through with what she said would be more akin to: "A world where everyone wears a hat". Weird and something you're not used to, but you still know people that did it.
Eh. Comedic effect for comedic effect's sake. If I was writing a story with deeper plot and more pizzazz to it, I would have done the exact same as you said, personally. But, not so much for a silly flat one-shot.

Well, I suppose that's more set to the person. If you're faster than a person but not as sneaky as them, an open hallway where you limit where the person can hide as well as optimize the space you have to run through and away with could work out better. Again, it's a matter of who you're asking. Having a crowd to move around in and mask your movements works for some people, but not all people.

6863599 It would actually make an interesting idea for a story, if it turns out, that while sunset "Looks" human, her biology is still slightly different, like, that pony-turned-humans are naturally stronger/more durable or something, and thus are immune to the negative side effects of having bigger breasts (like backpain, or the boobs-dont-negate-Falldamage-part from this story).
There is a fanfic called "Death is optional" where, after sunset yells at sci-twi, that she almost killed her friends, shes baffled to find out humans were actually immortal the whole time, just nobody ever told her, it could be kinda like that, only this time no one told sunset, that breasts arent supposed to defy physics.

If someone doesn't mention the authorization I guess it doesn't mean he doesn't have it, and if there is indeed a link to somewhere showing who the picture belongs to, it's at least the best respect it can be done.
I'm using more often my phone than a computer here so it may explain why I'm a bit lost and why I've asked this question ^^.
