Hearth's Warming Eve is nearly upon Canterlot once again. The city is abustle with holiday shoppers and busy little ponies, but they all have the same thing on their mind: The Hearth's Warming Play!
Ponies from all across Equestria come to audition for the distinguished honor of being in that year's playbill. Whether it's as a stagehand, a contributor, or the coveted actor, it was just an honor to be listed. This year however, an even greater honor was on offer: to share the stage with Princess Celestia herself!
Well, it wasn't yet decided what role she'd be playing, but she was auditioning! Of course she was going to get a role! Why wouldn't she? It was a shoo-in. Especially with her sister Luna waiting in the wings to support her.

That was wonderful. It does get a little slow at times, but I never lost interest.
That said, I do want to talk about this part.
You don’t actually need to make them so small. It’s hard to read. You can make them slightly small, but just the italics is enough for us to figure out who’s talking, given prior narration and context.
But even with that little issue, this was really well-written. And funny.

I'm still impressed by how hard some of Daniel Ingram's songs went. Luna's Future, even though it is somewhat short, is one of my favourites.

I understand your point, I was stuck on how small to make it for the sand of the joke, and it seemed the right size on my computer when I was making it. But I’ll up it a little if you think it’s too small if one person thinks it’s not the right size, it’s a good indication it might not work for everyone. Thank you for the input.

I literally commute to a playlist of "MLP songs that didn't need to go that hard" 😂 I forget at times what great music I grew up on and then listen to these songs and am like ✨❤️✨
Now we need a follow up explaining how Starlight ended up with the main role (Snowfall Frost) after all the auditions were done 🙃
