So... these ponies see nothing wrong with forcing someone to be mute? It's a disability and it's disrespectful. All just because Luna found his voice annoying? What asslickery on the ponies part if they don't even point something like that out to Luna. And if they actually find it funny, (like how Twilight and Celestia make it out to be.) then they're all wrong in the head to some degree.
But that's just my opinion.

He is quite literarly unable to express anything with words and now has to make due with Twilight half understanding him. And nopony else is concerned with deadly turrets, merely because they don't shoot at ponies? There is so much wrong in this story in that way, it is a great story however, and I enjoy it none the less.

That is generally it, yeah. If something isn't dangerous doesn't necessarily mean it is but with all the crazy stuff that happens in Ponyville, a town full of turrets won't exactly surprise them, especially since they think that they only get set off whenever Joseph is about.
6507994 They really don't seem to bother about the fact that Joseph might get hurt, being unable to call for help and the fact that the turrets shoot EVERYWHERE, if they are to fall over. Imagine one of the ponies tipping one over in town square during rush hour... See my point?

6508004 Just have a smart pony point the hazard out to other ponies. And then have some other pony (Dinky seems like a good choice) to show him some pity and blindfold all the turrets or something before they get moved out of heavily populated areas or something.
But I feel Dinky blindfolding the turrets would be awfully cute if nothing else.
Blind turrets, are way more useless.
Next time Joseph, let her give you back your voice, then verbally berate her or better yet use that damn portal gun and go looking for some god damn prime blackmail material.
