I know this is being a grammar nazi, but wouldn’t it be “Naofumi couldn’t care less”? Because if someone from the wave world visited him at this point in time and said he could go back to his old world if he helped them, I’m pretty sure he’d say yes in a heartbeat.

The poor Queen will most likely lose her shit when she finds out both Naofumi and Melty are gone, and probably more so when she takes into account that the canon fodder left them behind. They essentially left the only hope for their world, along with her daughter, to die. She’d probably be mad at Bitch the most, all things considered.
Hope too see the reaction of the party and the side effects of Naofumi's choice especially Melty's family/people.
Starswirl should have the decency to war Naofomi about the bigot nobles. Even its something he'd expect/used to already. Still dude, dick move not telling him

Early on in this chapter, you stayed that all four of the Cardinal Heroes are from different time periods in Japan, however, in the first episode of The Shield hero, they compare historical figures and events and find out that they are different. That means that they are from different alternate realities or versions of Japan. Maybe it's different in the light novel or manga but that's how it is in the anime.

I won’t say impossible, but you have to really think about two things; if they managed to summon heroes from anywhere; would they be strong enough and competent? And the second is do you really think they would want to spend a minute in Melromarc if they knew what really went on?
Sorry bud, Melromarc ain’t coming back from this one; not to say that some people may make it out of the skirmish alive though. You’ll just have to wait and see.
