Well that's a BIG question. You've set up a nice geopolitical game of Jenga here The Griffin's have gone isolationist, Zebrica is currently at war and the Crystal Empire is very close to one starting . With this current chapter done the seeds of a nice Equestrian civil war have been planted. Speaking of that are Thestral or Bat Ponies cannon in this story? A bit of cultural intolerance and racism can add fuel to the fire as it where.Also showing more of the corruption of the Nobles and Military would be a big addition in a making a civil war possible. The poor Earth pony mare..
6661641 I hadn't thought about bat ponies but yes I do want to add them in along with a number of other races that face discrimination. I was also hoping for more comments considering how many people have read my story. I want to be frank it's not that ponies are evil it's the fact they have been able to get by with there behavior for so long. Why because despite the nobility having a disproportionate ammount of control many still fear celestias wrath. It's also compounded by the fact many ponies especially those in charge fear and despise change despite the system collapsing under the hooves. Now earth ponies I'm hoping will lead the charge to a way of doing things, why? Because let's face it they would be very easy for the other pony races to take advantage of with there lack of flight and active magic. I plan to also show how disportonate the wealth is in Equestia thanks to the nobility and poorly regulated Cloudsdale Weather co. I also was hoping for other bronies and readers to help me with writing the massive social upheavals as many pegisi are put out of work as earth ponies learn about non magical irigation. Along with my of the nobility who will be facing a changing market as they find there new trade partners have no interest in primitive tools and overpriced enchantments. Also I want to point out the gryphons have a reason for there isolation. I would love to hear guesses as it's more then one.

6677137 thank you! Honestly this is my first fic so I was nervous about the reception, but over all most of the readers seem to like it despite some stating I'm bashing Equestia to much. But I made this an AU for a reason. I was hoping for more comments and tips as I write it though. I also have trouble in terms of what comes next despite having the story written in my head. I was also hoping of OCs and other ideas because it's harder then I thought it would be to come up with good pony names that don't hurt the ear.

Or an older German Shepher named Gerd von Runstedt? I dunno, I just have a high respect for German Commanders who are not aligned with the Nazis for some reason. What about the Minotaurs. Are they going to be introduced? About the battleships. You should make some based off of the Warspite-class, Valiant-class, Bismarck-class, Iowa-class, Nagato-class, and the Yamato-class. As for tanks, how about the German Panzers eh? Would be nice to see Tigers. If you have any thoughts about vehicles or weapons. You are welcomed to ask me.
6677180 well actually most of the characters are based off of influential world war one people. As for why I'm a fan of alternate history so for the most part the diamond dogs have tech reflecting that time with plenty of add ins to make it interesting since I was a fan of scott westerfelds leviathan series (mostly the clankers) so many of the dreadnoughts of that era will also be seen with plenty of strange features and weapons to fight off enemy's. But they are currently upgrading there arsenal......with no oversight

6677257 There are many WW2 warships and tanks that were designed but never built. Just ask me what to find and I will find them.
6677454 the would be very helpful mainly what I'm looking for are ships and weapons that will shock the Equestrians and the other powers at play. For example one weapon in planning on using in the later chapters is the bat bomb (I'm sure u could find the footag of it) and pigeon guided bombs and rockets. Basicly those odd ideas that could have changed the way we fought those wars I'm also looking for interesting air craft (note the diamond dogs never had something as tragic as the Hindenburg to discourage development of air ships) I also hope to find inspiration for the zebras locally made tanks and artillery. Also keep in mind the both the Britanians and zebra are not bound by any treaty's or agreements. That mean all weapons are technically on the table including those that ever our ancestors thought too horrible. Also Britanians military Research and development have little to no oversight and the emperor doesn't know what goes on despite forbidding certain projects.
