I often wonder what led me here, what series of events long ago set off, triggering different actions and places until I ended up here, right now, in this bed, with a numb and tired heart.

It all started innocently as the game to win it all. Weary after so many matches between one another, Rainbow Dash and Applejack decided to break the stalemate once and for all! And the game to win it all is a game neither of them have any experience with.

After a tragic experience with a dare, Rainbow makes a hasty trip to Wall-Mart, more specifically, to the oral hygiene aisle.

Having a little sister is a new experience for Rainbow Dash. She had sort of assumed that this would be easy. I mean, how hard could it be? She's awesome. Who wouldn't want to have a big sister like her? So when she takes Scootaloo to the Wonderbolt Air Show, and they run into Indigo Zap, Rainbow Dash is not quite sure how she feels. Especially when it turns out that Scootaloo and Indigo Zap know each other, and Scootaloo can't help but go on about how cool the Shadowbolt is. But whatever it is Rainbow Dash is feeling, she knows for certain that she's NOT jealous! That's for sure! Not jealous at all!

Big Macintosh has always been a quiet one, but no one knows the full reason why. But when he finally starts opening up to his friends, something horrible happens.

She's in danger, and he needs to protect her, but can he get there in time?

Dash has a very serious question that only Lyra can answer. Fortunately, she doesn't get her first.

Trixie knew for a fact she was the Greatest and Most Powerfulest student at CHS, and also the best guitar player in the whole school. Rainbow knew for a fact that she was the most awesome student at CHS, and also the best guitar player in the whole school. Both were quick to argue their lack of relationships was due to the sheer lack of partners on their level.

Everyone else at CHS knew Sunset was the best guitar player in the whole school. Somehow, though, they'd never thought the blue girl with the overinflated ego who also played guitar would end up dating the blue girl with the overinflated ego who also played guitar. It made sense in hindsight, and it turned out to work pretty well.

Until it didn't.
