An unexpected visit from an old acquaintance results in Twilight and her friends being transported to a mirror world ruled by a cruel, sadistic version of Discord. Learning that their counterparts have been killed in this new, violent world, they are tasked with carrying out the quest that they had already accomplished in their own world - defeat Discord, and free the land from his iron fist.
However, this is a new world, and new rules apply. Will they survive their ordeal?

It's been 76 years since Spike sealed away the Corrupted One within himself to put a stop to Twilight's tyranny.

It's been 54 years since Spike finally reappeared.

It's been 40 years since he took over, dubbed himself the Hell King, and nearly destroyed all life on the planet,

And it's been 10 years since Bright Spark has begun her journey to find 'The Fallen'; a legendary group of ponies who can fight the Hell King. With their help, she may be able to fight The Corrupted One and restore peace and life to the world.

The flu; all ponies have had it at some point in their lives. It's a simple yearly ordeal that leaves you feeling crummy for a week or two, then you're fine again, right? Oh how wrong of a misconception that is. This is not the story of the feather flu, this is the story of the black flu; the worst flu pandemic in Equestrian history.

Though this story is fictional, I'd like to point out that this will be an accurate representation of a worst case scenario pandemic in our world. And after the recent outbreak of H7N9 in China and NCoV in Saudi Arabia, I felt as though I needed to write this story. So I hope this story will both entertain and educate you.

A dragon wanders through a starless night, into a land that banished him centuries ago. Never did he imagine he would return to the world that cursed his very existence, but when the sun and moon failed to rise one fateful day, something compelled him to begin the long journey home to the princess who shattered his heart.

Spike has just woken up from his hundred-year sleep and realized that none of his friends are around anymore. He is deeply stricken with grief. Can a letter from his wife Rarity, gifts from his friends, and a poem from Twilight Sparkle help ease the pain of their loss?

When I was writing this story I didn't mean for it to take the turn that it did, however a personal event that happened in my life made this what it is. I hope those that read it enjoy it.
