Between work and stressing over her replies, Rainbow gives little thought to what drives their conversations. They are natural—flowing as easily as the water over Rainbow Falls and at the same time heart-wrenching. Finally she must face the inevitable question. Can a lasting relationship form from the exchange of a few letters?

Her voices come from a pair of little breezies she likes to call Red and White, who sit on her shoulders and offer advice about her life. Just because nopony else can see them, doesn't mean she's crazy.

No one ever wants to fight for the Rebels during reenactments of battles from the Equestrian Civil War; they're the bad guys, and they always lose. When Spike is placed on the Rebel side yet again so that Twilight can continue to win, he enlists the help of Starlight Glimmer and several thousand other ponies in launching a protracted reenactment conflict which will finally allow him to prove his worth and triumph over Twilight and the rest of his friends. This story is complete with enough Civil War humor to make Fredricksburg look like Sharpsburg.

This story is a sequel to The Mess We're In

Flim was never one to argue with Flam. In fact, if the situation had been any different, they might have been able to work it out. But, fate being the fickle thing that it is had other plans. After a heated fight, they split up. There was no going back, the bridge was burned and the damage done.

It soon becomes apparent that things are never as easy as they seem. Several failed attempts later, Flim is out of energy and ideas. Just when he's about to give up, a chance encounter with Applejack changes everything. Working beside the Element of Honesty was the opportunity he needed. If he could prove his sincerity to her, then nopony would question his desire for an honest life. But, as the days drag on, he realizes a truth that may just jeopardize everything. How can he prove his sincerity when he must constantly hide the truth?

This one has been a long time coming. An Honest Life takes place in the same universe as my long running story, What Changes May Come and runs parallel to This Cruel and Random World. There are some aspects from those stories in this one, but there's no need to read either to enjoy this one. Essentially the events are cannon until the middle of season 4.

A few weeks ago, Cloudchaser received news that she was going to become a Wonderbolt. Naturally, she had been incredibly excited over the news.

But her sister, Flitter, had been... less than enthusiastic about it.

That's not to say she wasn't happy for her sister, because she was, but she wasn't looking forward to living alone for the first time in her life. She had always had her sister to lean on whenever life threw something her way, and her life would never be the same once she left.
