These are the first six lines of Spike's Noble Dragon Code, the manifesto Spike trust to guide his actions. So what's a dragon to do, when the code lets him down?

Sequel: "Trying To Be Cool"

Spike is left to his daily tasks as Twilight Sparkle is in Canterlot on official business. This includes a visit from Rainbow Dash, who is looking for more books to read. Spike gives her some suggestions and Dash admits he knows what he's talking about. This sparks something in Rainbow's head. She slowly begins to see the small purple dragon in a new light after a number of recent events. What exactly is going on with her?

"Do you know what a mayfly is, Twilight?"

It's been six years since Spike met Rarity, and nothing's changed.

Nothing he knows about, anyway.

This is a story in which I just don't even bother with passing the Bechdel Test.

(I know, I wrote another story with a character crying in the cover image. Someday I'll write something happy! I promise. Someday.

Also, I'm pretty sure I read a story like this once. If it turns out I accidentally rewrote a near copy, I'm sure someone will point it out to me, and I'll wipe this mess. I can't really go looking for what I read, though, it was from months back.)

Spike had always wanted to be with Rarity and felt certain she was the one he was meant to be with. He never thought he needed anyone else. But he didn't realize he had won over Fluttershy without even trying. But will Spike let go of his long time obsession and take a chance with someone who returned his feelings?

A friend often feels neglected and mistreated by the others. Sadness turns to anger, anger turns to revenge. This friend lashes out at the mane six by becoming the most devastating villain that they have ever faced. It is up to the girls to fend off this new powerful foe while trying to figure out who it is that unleashed the terrible terror in the first place.

Spike and Twilight celebrate fathers day. For this day is special for everyone in the Twilight family! This fathers day is going to be memorable for every pony. Especially for Twilight.

This story is a sequel to The Darkness of Love

Spike saved the Elements of Harmony, but a past mistake had caught up to him. He died a week later, leaving Twilight heartbroken, holding a crystal that contained half his soul from before he succumbed to dark magic.

Now, some months later, Twilight has spent her time searching for the key to bringing Spike back. With everything in place, and Cadence assisting her with Spike's resurrection, will everything go as planned, or will something falter and leave Spike half of or twice what he used to be?

This story is a sequel to Sweetie Belle's Sweet Birthday

After Sweetie Belle's Cuteceñera, Sweetie Belle and Spike are now officially an item. Everything starts out fine for the happy couple, but nothing is perfect all the time, especially young love. When Sweetie Belle begins to feel very self-conscious about her looks, Spike decides to sit her down and ask her a very important question: "What do you see?"

NOTE: While this is a sequel, this story in particular is also a bit of a standalone.
