Choosing the most important moment in Equestrian history is nearly impossible. Many moments shaped Equestria as we know it today—moments big and small that paved the way for monumental shifts in power, culture, and technological achievement. History is rich with such moments, but to us, one moment stands out as the dawn of a new era.

We believe this moment to be the day Pinkie Pie sought to lift the ban on yo mama jokes.

Huzzah, it's Hearthswarming! That means sweets, decorations, and songs abound in the Pie family household. Or it would, if Pinkie wasn't away in Ponyville for a baking internship. So if she's unable to provide such a festive atmosphere, who will preserve the joy of Hearthswarming?

She probably won't like it.

Twenty years. Twenty years spent sitting on a stone plinth, with birds getting absolutely everywhere. That kind of experience can change a pony, or a changeling. As long as she stays ahead of the newspapers and mail service, that story might even hold up.

A story about grudges, love, and the power of unremitting hatred.

No particular reason for the T rating, just covering my bases with how much Chrysalis teases ponies.

In this story, Sunset Shimmer, the Pony, breaks up with everyone. Because that's the thing you need to have in this entry for this contest. That's right, this is for a contest. Alright? Okay? Yeah. I'm writing it like 2 days before the deadline because who gives a toss. I'm not gonna win. Are you? Maybe you are! Maybe you, the potential winner of this contest, is reading this right now going 'hahah this ass, he's never gonna win', and you know what, you'd be right.

But before this story gets rejected because I didn't add the story summary in the description, let me repeat what happens in this damn story:

Sunset Shimmer breaks up with everyone.

A few weeks before her college graduation, Sunset Shimmer attends Twilight Sparkle's funeral. She'd rather be anywhere else but here. She'd rather think about anything but what role she played—or didn't play—in her girlfriend's premature death.

We don't always get what we want, though. After the last several months, Sunset knows that better than anyone.

In the swirl of events surrounding her accession to the Equestrian throne, Twilight seems mostly concerned that Fluttershy may have developed a crush on her. Fortunately, Rarity's there for her.

Rarity will always be there for her.

Inspired by the RariTwi Bomb that Monochromatic organized the week of the show's finale, the original version of this story took 4th place in the 121st Writeoff contest, "Crossing Over."

(Rewritting) In a quiet little mountain town in Colorado, an elementary school is taking a field trip. When a few of them wonder off, they discover something that takes them to a new world. Equestria. In the evilest of all places, Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Cartman, and Butters must find a way back, or literally die of boredom. (T, Contains a bit of bad language and references. The High Jew Elf Kyle, has found himself in Equestria or more specifically the Everfree Forest. As Kyle journeys through this land he will find ponies, griffons, princesses and even unexpected friendships on his quest to find a way home to South Park.
But will he even want to go home once the opportunity is shown?

Celestia is a princess, elegant, regal, and certainly not secretly trying to mess with everyone around her for her own amusement...

Brought to you by watching Jordanis play Untitled Goose Game a bunch. Plus having Celestia be the goose instead of making Celestia deal with the goose was also his idea, and he edited it super well, so pretty much this is Jordanis' story, I just wrote bits of it.
