Ever since Applejack and Rarity were stranded at Twilight's for her very first slumber party, Twilight's been inviting her friends over for 'proper' slumber parties just so that they could all have a bit of fun and relax. Over time, it's become tradition, leading to some rather entertaining antics between the six friends.

But one of their favorites has become the telling of scary stories. While Twilight delights in the socializing and Rarity savors the creative process, Dash and Applejack have taken to trying to beat one another for the scariest tale. Surprising everypony, even Fluttershy's taken to listening with rapt attention. Her stories have all been rather gruesome - she does work with dangerous animals after all - though no one's quite sure why she likes it so much... maybe it's like Pinkie said... sometimes it's just fun to be scared. Wait, come to think of it, Pinkie's never told one of those scary stories. She's always been making snacks or setting up for the pillow fight, or ... something. Hmmm.... maybe she doesn't like 'scary' as much as she's been pretending?

Whatever the case, Dash is determined to find out.

The quirky Cherry Lattice is a baker in Maretropolis who loves her job, and more than eating the masterpieces she bakes, she loves to share her goodies with others to brighten their lives. But that’s her day job. At night, she’s known as Fili-Second, the speedy mare who cleans up the crime in the streets in record time.

As her belief stands that nopony should have an unhappy Hearth’s Warming, she decides to pay a special visit to a certain somepony to make his or her holiday a merry one.

(NOTE) I realize that the official comics have a different canon concerning the Power Ponies; but for story purposes, I will be ignoring the comic canon, for the most part.

While treading the newly formed world of chaos, a hateful grey mare has the unfortunate encounter with the elusive Spirit of Chaos himself. However, things don't go quite as she thought it would...
