She was in the gig economy. She was also a little pony. Her people needed her, inspired to motion and action. That meant her life was getting a lot busier on the pony side of things. Her human life proved to be... understanding, or so she hoped.

My name is Daniel Brooks. I don't know how, but I've been sent to another world. A... uh, "magical pony filled" world where humanity isn't appreciated for some reason. I haven't seen another human, so I can only imagine those who were transported here before me have all been hunted down, probably locked away in a dungeon from what I can tell. That's bad, but wait, it gets worse.

I've been turned into one of them; a pegasus with a strange motif on my flank. Now I'm stuck in this town called Ponyville with no friends, no family, no job and no home. Just my luck...

Like I said earlier, these ponies don't seem to like humans, especially those that have transformed into ponies. They despise us, constantly trying to figure out who is secretly human and who isn't. It's not easy hiding what you truly are, let me tell you! I do one stupid things and all eyes will be on me!

At least, there's somebody else in this town who shares my plight. He's been stuck there for weeks, trying to find a way home. He'll teach me all about blending in. By working together, we can avoid suspicion and get back home.

I just hope I won't be there for long...

With books in her eyes, a chipper unicorn comes to the big city of earth ponies, certain that they would be more open to the idea of a grand library than the superstitious unicorns she was leaving behind. She would maybe awaken ancient spirits, or just bring to Manehattan the joy of a good book.

After the initial shock, she became the chief curator of the Ponyville Historical Society and employed by Princess Twilght Sparkle herself. This is her first holiday season in Equestria, and she is alone. That is until a couple visitors appear at her door.

Twilight sparkle found a new spell and needed a friend to help her with it so she got her best friend anonymous who was also a human. She promised him that she would be careful but after a mistake she accidentally turned anon I to a pony and a mare leading to the creation of the pony Scarlett Ray.
