A Student from the Royal academy arrives in Ponyville years before Twilight Sparkle, and tries to do academic work without a bunch of crazy ponies distracting him. But a certain cross-eyed mail mare may just catch his eye. Tells a story from before and after the events of the series, from the point of view of two separate ponies. *Midnight is not an OC*

Lightning Dust, furious after being kicked out of the Wonderbolt's Academy, stumbles into a random bar in order to blow off some steam. Things proceed to go downhill from there.

Fluttershy always enjoyed receiving letters from your one and only mail pony: Derpy Hooves. She always enjoyed watching Derpy play with her daughter Dinky. One day it hits Fluttershy (or Angel does), its time to tell Derpy her true feelings towards her and hopefully Derpy will have the same feelings towards her.

I'm going to give this shipping thing another shot! I rushed the ending of my last one. And I will not let that happen again! I promise everypony. Plus I'm in that romantic mood after reading like twenty (or so) shipping stories. (only one or two were clop)

Rated Teen for: mild language, sexual themes, and sappy confessions. (nothing describing sex but you know better be safe than sorry)

After being abandoned by her mother in the Everfree forest, Derpy is taken in by the kind earth pony Mary Doo, who tries to do all in her power to unlock Derpy's inner genius from her seemly broken body and mind. As Derpy learns to communicate she also learns the secrets of the world, makes friends, falls in loves, all on her quest to learn to fly so that she may finally accomplish her life long dream and face her face dark past.

Almost everypony feels as if Ponyville's mailmare is a little thick, and they aren't always able to keep their insults to themselves, but how does she feel about it?

Rainbow Dash discovers that Derpy is being bullied out of her temporary home in Cloudsdale, and decides to help the awkward Pegasus.

Caught in a rainstorm again, Derpy trudges off toward home. But along the way, she finds somepony down on her luck as well, somepony who very much reminds Derpy of her own childhood. It was a good day.

Lengthened version of the 13th-place finisher in the /fic/ mini write-off "I Regret Nothing."
