After breaking up with her longtime girlfriend, Pearl Rose does what she's always done when she's down and needs comforting: She goes to her mentor and teacher, Twilight Sparkle.

What began as Twilight comforting her former student will soon grow into something that neither of them expected.

Edward Elric's fate has been altered. Little did he know that his decision is just the beginning of another chapter in his life.

As it turns out, that was a mistake.

Twilight had a busy week at the Friendship School, and anypony who works at the school knows that very well. As the handmare at the Friendship School, she has a greater responsibility than others, and it's makes her very tired after a full day. But nothing like a good night's sleep doesn't fix it.

But one night, she wakes up in the dungeons, with only Nightmare Moon as her companion. She would even let Nightmare Moon take revenge on her, if she wasn't so tired now.

Twilight and Don invent a scale that determines where on the evolutionary cycle ponies fall. Some like their results more than others.

There are many rules to a good horror film. Most ponies learn them with time and experience.

Twilight never did. Now, trapped in a desolate inn at the end of a long driveway, far from help, she will learn of them. Or, at least, one of them. The one Rarity, her only surviving friend, insists is keeping Twilight alive.

To everyponies misfortune, Twilight has questions, and fleeing in terror like she should will not get her the answers.

It’s going to be a bad night for the killer.

This story is a sequel to Aftermath of the Games

Change happens, no matter what any creature wishes. Actions have consequences, no matter how badly you want to ignore them. And now, magic is starting to grow in the human world in a very big way, a way that can't be hidden in a single high school.

With the inevitable coming, inhabitants of two worlds have to scramble to get a grip on what's going on before it flows out of control. Hopefully they can figure out this new magic in time to ensure a peaceful relationship between the two worlds.

This fic is a side story of Guilt of a Phantom and contains the story left untold after the end of the chapter: A New Lease On Life. This is not a stand alone fic, but was meant to be a single chapter which became so much more; too much to remain as just a chapter.

It is strongly recommended to read Guilt of a Phantom and it's affiliated fics before this, because on its own it will not make much sense without the context provided in the main story.

Twilight Sparkle has always been frustrated with Discord. His ability to do anything, with no more effort than a snap of his claw. It shouldn't be possible. His power had to come from somewhere.
Then, one day, Twilight lets slip how she feels. Surprisingly Discord agrees to explain it to her. To give her the secret to all of his powers. If she's willing to pay the price that knowing it all will bring.

Anon has been forced into Canterlot's throne room. Even worse, Princess Celestia is inside of it. Crying silently.

Welp, there's only one real solution here.

Now's the time to hope this isn't a crime of any sort, and that he isn't sent to the sun anytime soon.

First publicized story- would definitely appreciate criticism.

And being completely honest- this was made in under an hour. A product of sudden inspiration.
