This story is a sequel to A New Era Dawns
Pearl Rose is a new student at the School of Friendship. Having just moved from Baltimare, the young Pegasus is finding it hard to fit into Ponyville, even though everyone has made her feel welcome.
But Pearl has also developed a reputation for being a bit hot-headed and willing to speak her mind on literally anything and everything and not care about being polite about it if she feels the need.
While most appreciate her honesty, some are not so happy about it, and when she is sent to see Headmare Starlight after breaking up a fight, Pearl fears she's just blown her chance at ever having a normal life.
One pony, however, has a different idea in mind. And what started out as something to dread will blossom into something new for both Pearl and Princess Twilight.

Just remember. Pearl already had a well-deserved reputation for being hot headed and not giving the slightest of fucks what others thought of her opinions. Hell, Starlight's talked to her about it before.
This was just the final straw, and Starlight is only going by what she saw. Pearl was in fact on the verge of being expelled already. It was so bad that Twilight was in fact on the verge of stepping in herself. For what reason? Only I know 😊.
