So, as much as I'd love to update The Hunting Star, the main stumbling block has been hit at this point, as I knew it would.

Namely, which characters to kill off. I have several ideas for ones that I will knock off, but how I would write them is another story. Yes, they will be named characters from the show.

So now that Another Chance at Life has reached the end of the first arc, I'm a bit stuck on where to go with the main conflict of the story.

Contrary to what I wrote, it was never about Fake Twilight's hiding from Equestria and her eventual meeting with Princess Twilight.

So the next chapter for Rise of The Empress has been altered. Twilight and Midnight's first meeting will com later for now. I'm not entirely happy with how I wrote it.

It will also have a cameo by two characters from the show. I won't say who though. But I will leave you with a bit of preview.

But I have growing feeling that once she finishes all the requests she has at the moment, she'll stop taking them altogether.

It's not a sequel by any means. Let's just go with calling it a spinoff.

The Warp as we know it doesn't exist. It's called the Aetherium in this universe. But here is where it diverges fully from 40k.

The War in Heaven never happened so it never became what the Warp did. The Old Ones did exist at one time, but no one's ever seen one and no one knows what happened to them.

Now that I've gotten to the half way point of the story, ideas have dried up a bit. I have a few one off chapters that really don't go anywhere.

Right now, all I have for what to add next is too confirm something I hinted at in an earlier chapter. Zome already guessed the nobility won't be happy with what's coming.

Now we will see how unhappy they really are, and what they plan to do about it and Cosmos. In a very permanent fashion I might add.
