Spike finally decides to reveal his feelings for the pony he cares about, and nothing could possibly be better.

This isn't exactly full of a huge amount of conflict, it's mostly a sappy lovey dovey romance story for one of the cutest ships I've ever seen, because I'm a big sap and sucker.

Though, every time, it's been unsuccessful.

Now, with help from one rhyme-talking zebra and a Hearts Desire flower, they can get their outcome.

But after only a few months, this outcome isn't expected, as Rarity...

Lays eggs?!

Spike has had feelings for Rarity ever since he arrived in Ponyville. He can't stop thinking about her and wants to take action. This story is five years after his birthday.

Spike has loved the beautiful and graceful Rarity with all of his young dragon heart from the moment he had first laid eyes on her. The problem was that Rarity barely noticed him. One day he decides to make his intentions known to her, only to find that she has her eye set on the handsome Baron Summersday and his quest may have already come to an end.

Meanwhile, Rarity — after the disastrous event of the Grand Galloping Gala — has been in contact with a stallion named Baron Summersday via mail, as the finale of the Gala prevented him from meeting her in person. After several missives between themselves, he invites her to his mansion for the weekend as an honored guest. Rarity sees this as the possibility of her dream of finding the one for her finally becoming a reality.

But is this really a dream, or a nightmare instead?

After a prank too far last year's Nightmare Night by Rainbow Dash, Rarity, with the help of Ponyville's number one assistant, Spike, decides to get some revenge by pranking the prankster. However, things don't always work out the way they are planned.
