Spike asks Rarity a question she is 100% unprepared to answer.

Takes place several years into the future. Established Spike/Rarity. Could be considered a oneshot follow-up to either “Of Age” or “How to Woo Your Lady in 9 Easy Steps”, but requires no background knowledge of my previous fics.

Spike and Rarity have just had their third child, and they couldn't be happier. However, they still have not picked out a name for it yet.

Once I thought of the name, I just had to write this short little story.

Rarity receives an invitation to Equestria’s most exclusive and secretive social club. The only catch is, she can only attend if she brings her lawfully wedded spouse. Fortunately, there’s a certain purple dragon who’s willing to help her overcome this little difficulty. It’s a simple, foolproof plan: get married, attend the club, and then get an annulment. Nothing is ever that simple, however… not their weekend, not their friendship, and certainly not their marriage.

Spike is over at Rarity's assisting her in the development of her "Winter Fashions" when Rarity notices her young assistant is getting sleepy. This gives her the perfect chance to try out her "Other" line of clothing in which is sure to make mommies and daddies everywhere rejoice!

The overall focus of this story is around creating a "Safe", "Comfortable", and "Relaxing" sensation through the feelings a baby may have. Touch, taste, scent, and sound all work together to lull Spike into the most restful sleep he has ever had while showing how there is a bit of mommy in Rarity.

After her face and body are permanently scarred, Rarity seals herself off in her room with the lights off and drapes drawn, too disgusted by her own appearance to be seen. The only comfort she has comes in the form of daily visits from Spike, though she keeps the room dark to hide her deformities from the baby dragon. Can he convince her that she has nothing to fear; that her beauty is not limited to what she looks like?

With her dreams crushed after the horrible night at the Grand Galloping Gala, Rarity leaves her friends to sulk in peace and quiet. However she finds her hopes of being alone are shattered as her little "Shadow" known as Spike follows her to cheer her up. In result, it seems that this little dragon is more of a prince than one might expect.

Barbra's finally turning 18, and she struggles to confront Elusive about her true feelings towards him, thankfully she'll have a night with him to try and tell him. Unfortunately , she might be too nervous to tell him.

Spike loves Rarity; everypony knows that. But why? Is it just because he finds her the most beautiful pony he's ever seen? Is it her mane? Or is it something deeper, beyond just her looks? This question haunts Rarity, and after a certain incident strikes she's determined to find out the answer.

Got the idea for this after watching the scene from The Cutie Pox where Twilight's mane turns to Rarity's. Cover art is The Kiss by Jack-a-Lynn. You should definitely check his other work out!

Rarity takes pride in her weight, but when the scale tells her something she is not ready to hear. Life after this little trip to the gym will change forever for her and her husband, Spike.
