When Twilight was born, her parents weren't who she thought they were. Regardless, the two god-like entities loved her dearly, not wishing to depart with their beautiful daughter... However, after an incident involving an malevolent entity, that wanted her for some dark plot against all mortal beings, they agreed to disguise and send her away. The decision becoming more painful to both sides, as the link keeping the two god-like beings together, had been cut.

Twenty years later, during an attempted spell, Twilight had been attacked by the entity once more, taking its new chance at her. With its link to her world cut, only able to manipulate the spell, the Entity decides to send her to a different realm, where he has his pawns lying in wait to capture the valued prize. Now, the princess finds herself fighting along side the web-slinging hero, Spider-Man. Though, they have another ally that had been sent to protect Twilight at all cost, even if death comes for him. This protector being something neither teens had ever seen before in their life time...

I had a pretty good life. They called me Spit Shine, I worked in the palace, cleaning this, doing that. Hell, I even got to talk to the Princess, and learned all sorts of interesting stuff. It was stimulating, prestigious, and hey, call me weird, but I liked the work.

Shame I was also secretly a changeling infiltrator with a name too annoying to pronounce in polite society trying to observe and potentially subvert your nation state.

I mean, these things happen.

While he was completely aware, he also had access to all of his powers- he just couldn't leave the statue. So, he did what any chaos god does when bored: make more chaos and play god with the aftermath.

He was better at it than you might think.

And he enjoyed it more than he expected.

Now reformed, Discord decides to show his new friends/former enemies exactly what he did for the thousand years in stone. Or rather, all the tiny worlds he made. Along the way, the mane six shall discover more not only about Discord, not only about themselves, but also about the princesses themselves, and their mysterious past with Discord.

With no Princess Celestia to ask for guidance, with no Luna to keep the nightmares at bay, and with no peace or Harmony, Twilight must make a choice. Is she to be a symbol, to sit safe in a temple somewhere, dispensing advice while others fight and die in this cruel world? As trolls are attempting to resurrect their dead god, the Black Dragon flight are hatching their own schemes, the undead are massing in the plaguelands for another war, and an old god is reawakening with it's army in Silithus, Twilight couldn't make any other choice.

Morning Glory has succeeded in passing Princess Luna's test, and is now her personal protege... and soon to be her foster daughter. All seems to be sunshine, lollipops, and fluffy puppies forever... until Luna makes a discovery regarding the young filly's parentage, one that could wound the young filly's heart terribly. Keeping this information a secret seems wisest, especially given the connection the young filly has with Celestia's new student, but it soon becomes clear that this is just the tip of the iceberg, as the filly begins exhibiting strange and seemingly inexplicable talents. The young filly seems intent upon becoming a wizard, in spite of being an earth pony. Is such a thing possible, and is Equestria ready for it? And if so, what kind of a wizard would she be?

One thing soon becomes clear: No matter what the outcome turns out to be, something big is about to happen in Equestria, and when it's all over, nothing may ever be the same....
