I had applied for the school and was happily accepted. Going to a boarding school should be fun, taking a break from everything that was going on back home.

Latex Elementary had come up on the list of Boarding Schools, to which I could apply. If it was the name of the school, the list of subjects, the teachers, the rooms or just a chance to get a fresh start, but I had applied.

I am looking forwards to making new friends and reading the new subjects, taking new classes.

Naturally, there are new experiences afoot. (Ages are adjusted where required.)

The little filly apparently had had it, and came up with what she could do in order to pull the plug on her problem.

Is waking up on the wrong side an excuse from what came to pass, the rest of that day?

With a straight face, a few giggles and what was to pass for a treat; a few files, polish and a face mask in gel form is all there is, and all it took.

Scootaloo volunteers to have Twilight assist her in living a youthful childhood, that she never experienced. While at first Scootaloo comes to help Twilight out, she stays for other reasons.

Due to being asked multiple times to update it and in the end flipping a coin, I have recommenced the continuation of the story. The end will be reached sooooonishly. (like about 100 000 words or so)

Scribe has always been a bit of a recluse, despite the much more public nature of his job serving the Hive, and after a hard days work he loves nothing more than to curl up in his little nook of the hive and read one of the few books his hive has, he himself being one of the rare changelings that are considered worthy of learning to read. When he is told about the upcoming invasion of Canterlot, he is overjoyed at finally being able to get all the books he wants from the ponies. Of course, the invasion fails, and he is left, trapped, while all the other changelings are expelled from Canterlot. Follow him throughout his misadventures with everyone's favorite ponies as he discovers friendship, love and a library full of books.

What started out as a fairly good night only got worse, for what seemed like simple toys turned out to be so much more. And now, there's miniature ponies on the loose, flying around and using magic.

As I woke up, I realised I have a Unicorn foal on my bed. It is up to me to protect and care for her now.

I had ended up wishing to take her to a safe place, where she would be with other Unicorns, I soon found myself in a throne room, facing a princess.

Was this the safest place for a Unicorn, or was it the lack of reliability on the part of her magic?

Somepony had stolen Twilight's crown and she traveled through a magical mirror in the Crystal Palace. Twilight, and unexpectedly Spike, travel through the mirror to a world she was not prepared for...

A pair of Ferengi merchants and part-time slave traders (any time they think they can get away with it) decide to pick up some people from the newly discovered world of Equestria - a world without local space travel. For variety, they decide to pick out one of each of the major groupings - a pegasus, and earth pony, a unicorn. For ease of control, they pick out juveniles.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders fit the bill perfectly.

Once upon a time, the Federation paid a visit to Equestria. The story of that visit - and some of its consequences - is detailed over here.

Partway through the tale (in chapter 15, to be exact) a Ferengi ship passing through space meets another ship. There were meta-narrative reasons for this, reasons why the author thought it would be necessary.

These reasons were promptly proven incorrect.

This, therefore, is the story of what would have happened, had the Ferengi ship not met anyone else on their way through space. It follows on directly from chapter 14 (Further Communication) of Equestria's First Warp Drive; I strongly recommend that you read the first fourteen chapters of that story first, and then return here.

Every schoolfilly has heard of the Federation - the tall, mysterious, magicless beings from another world, who visit only rarely and briefly; waiting, they say, for 'stable planetary political unity'.

This is the story of when they first visited Equestria; of early contact between the Princesses and the Federation. It is also the tale of how Princess Luna, with some help from the House of Sparkle, managed the first fully Equestrian warp jump; and of how Spike became the first dragon in space.
