Sunset Shimmer takes the mantle of her old master Sir Sunburst Starwatcher in a fit of desperation. Now, having had a taste of the glory and victory that has so long been out of reach, she throws herself into a delicate balance between fighting her way to riches and the noose that awaits if she is discovered.

And the lie she and her friends are trying to keep is getting harder and harder to maintain. Oh, and of course, there's the maiden fair who seems determined to get the truth of the matter.
*Based loosely on A Knight's Tale, you do not need to have seen the movie. This will have substantial differences.

Creating an outfit for a magician is an intimate process. Which leaves Trixie, Great and Powerful though she is, with a problem. Can she trust Rarity to keep her secret? And, even if she can, can she open up enough to someone else to go through with it?

That Rarity is the prettiest girl in school doesn’t help matters.

While written entirely by me, the ideas for this story were workshopped on Discord, mostly between me and Darkstarling. We started with a blank slate and came up with this story together.

Sunset Shimmer meant to visit another video game. Wild West games are always fun, right? But then things go wrong and Sunset's alter ego, Desert Mirage, becomes trapped in an entirely different world. This isn't a video game. The choices she makes matter. With a real chance of hurting somepony, Mirage decides to head home as quickly as possible. That'd be a lot easier if her way back hadn't been stolen. But Mirage has far more to worry about than mere card thieves.

Tragedy strikes the Sparkle estate one winter evening and Twilight finds herself cold, alone, and far from home.

Fortunately she stumbles across two fillies who may have more in common with her than she realizes. With no place else to go, nopony else to turn to, and no clear way back home, Twilight decides to stay with the fillies and their caretaker while she tries to piece together the mysteries of what happened to her family and why.

Bonds will be forged.

Secrets will be unraveled.

And a great journey will be undertaken.

As the girls celebrate the invitation to their friend's upcoming coronation, Sunset's horrified to find that she's not just selflessly happy for her best friend. If not princesshood, what's she meant to do with her life anyway? What's her destiny in the human world?

As Equestrian Magic grows more powerful due to an ominous, inter-dimensional rip in space-time above Canterlot High, Sunset's friends are affected by a dangerous, new magic and she's left to wonder if she's done more harm here than good.

This story is a sequel to The Exes Club. Helpful, but not required reading. Themes and ideas introduced there are developed further here.

A EQG and Harry Potter Crossover. We follow Sunset Shimmer and the students of Canterlot High when they travel to London, England to compete in the International Scholastic Competition, Quiz UK. Yet the girls soon find there is more to London, and in fact England, than was detailed in the travel brochures.
With dark magic, and powerful wizards, the girls find themselves caught up in an adventure that even Pinkie Pie would never have guessed.

Once again, I must thank very deeply Kitsy-Chan, for her wonderful story idea, and continuing help with creating the story. I hope I do the prompt justice.

The School of Friendship has new Teacher Assistants!

The Cutie Mark Crusaders have been welcomed into staff on a probationary basis in order to assist their sisters (and Rainbow Dash) with their classes. Today just happens to be the day for the School Trip to Canterlot Castle for a certain group.

When things go wrong and our characters are flung into the Void and come out in one of many worlds at war, what kind of challenges will they have to face? And if they survive... what will they bring back with them to Equestria?
