On her way to Fluttershy's house, Rainbow Dash crash lands into her friend, injuring her. In an attempt to make up for it, Dash tries to take care of Fluttershy and the animals. Fluttershy is left to sit back and trust Dash until she heals.

It's been several months since Pinkamena's re-imprisonment, and the residents of Equestria have been working diligently to repair the damages she has caused. But when Pinkie Pie decides that she can no longer accept Pinkamena being trapped again, she seeks help from her friends in order to bring her back to reality. Will others accept her return and help her lead a normal life? Or will she be rejected from everyone and fall into depression and insanity once again?

WARNING: This story will have a few OC's of my friends. They will have an impact on the main storyline, but I promise to make it as enjoyable as possible. Also, if you have read my story "A Wandering Soul", Lilith will make an appearance, but everything that she did in the story will be nonexistent.

A piece of interstellar technology I so aptly named the 'Universal Editor', a device that enables me to 'edit' the Strands of Existence, which then allows me nearly impossible feats.

After a close-encounter and failure to perform my self-imposed duty, I escape with only a flesh wound (or seven). Only to fall right into a realm packed with mythological beings, heavy emphasis on peaceful environments, and colorful technologically-inept equines that constantly try to become closer to me. It has been one of the closest guarded secrets of Canterlot's royalty. Deep in a specially constructed dungeon, surrounded by warding spells and powerful magic barriers, exists an enigma. Within a cage that could only be described as something out of a nightmare, it waits and watches all of Equestria. A creature that cannot age, is immune to disease, does not thirst nor hunger, and resists all injury. But, it also holds secrets and knowledge that could safeguard the kingdom. Its powers are frightening, but it is civil enough for debate when patience permits.

Princess Celestia has sought counsel with the creature before, enduring it making deal after deal for its services. The Princess walks a fine line when dealing with it, knowing full well anything could give it an advantage despite its imprisonment. She has had to go back on her word in these dealings, and from this a deep animosity between them has been born. It is a necessary evil as she is convinced this is a being capable of untold evil far and above anything Equestria has ever dreamed of. So long as it remains within the confines of its cell, her kingdom is made safe. So much magic has been woven to ensure that, there is little chance of escape.

So long as the magic holds, there is no danger. So long as the cage remains strong, the nameless creature stays enthralled in his cavernous dwelling. If that were to change--if the magic failed--not even the wisest could say. But one thing is assured, it does not bode well for Equestria.

We're not what you would call 'socially attuned.' Hell, we barely ever leave our room, and we were happy like that. We had our games to keep us happy. Our friends, however, talked us into attending Comic Con this year, so we decided to dress as Dust, from Dust: An Elysian Tail, one of our favourite games.

Unfortunately, the one time that we are pulled out of our town is the one time that shit goes down, just as we had expected. Now we're all separated and being hunted by ponies that care little for things like due process and thinking shit through.

Luckily, despite being separated, we still have each other. Kind of.

Bandwagon time.

A minor injury leads Apple Bloom to learn that she and the other Crusaders aren't like normal ponies. Not having their marks has always been their common bond, but as the trio uncover their unique nature, it becomes clear that their lives are intertwined on a much deeper level. As they learn the secrets of their shared past, it leads to revelations about their friendship, families, and their long sought after talents. What they discover and accomplish along the way is beyond what anypony would have thought possible.
